I am happy about mileage of Grand i10, based on my calculations it is giving me around 19 (100% city rides and still 1st service is not done).

@bhaveshdhaduk Swift Dzire and Grand i10 both are very good cars, i always recommend to choose a car with all security features. So if you consider Airbags and ABS Grand i10 diesel will come around 7.6 whereas Dzire is about 8.8 so take a decision based on your budget. if you mostly drive in city then better you go for Grand i10.

Did you ask the dealer about extended warranty for grand i10? It was not available when i bought the car. What about mud flaps,floor mats,spare headlight bulbs?

No i didn't ask about extended warranty, They given me spare headlight bulbs but no floor mats no mud flaps.

Congratulations on the car. The Grand i10 does look pretty good. Those alloys look hot too. Any idea how much those alloys cost?

Thanks @VipinLJ , Yes Grand looks good in diamond cut alloys (I have seen Asta variant those alloys are not so gud), There a 30k difference between Asta and Asta(O) which is having ABS,Air Bags and this alloys in addition so i guess those alloys doesn't cost much. .

Till now i didn't take her to highways.
I have a trip planned in next 2 weeks, i will definitely calculate the Highway mileage and update the thread.

Hi Karthik,

Thats awesome mileage.
Mine first tankful in city gave 14.7 (70% AC)
and then onwards i never used in city
All are highway trips, need to check any improvement

Whats your drivng style?
Are you pressing accelerator in first gear or allowing car to crusie with out pedalling accelarator?

Hey there's a huge difference in your's and mine. Driving style and traffic might be the reasons. Come to my driving style yes i press accelerator in first gear, and generally i up shift between 1500 to 2000 RPM (Not sure it is perfect, may be i am doing early upshift).

Yes agree bangalore traffic is terrific never realised till the point i got this mileage......probably get used to this kind of traffic
Your upshift pattern is perfect infact gear shift indicator will suggest an upshift@2000-2100 Rpm......
