I had done all these calculations before when i purchased my ritz diesel. I travel lot in my car and Till now I clocked 1,70,000 Km since 2009. When run over 80000-85000 Km diesel cars cheaper to maintain... btw My car is personal use ,but i travel frm my workplace to home.
My choice would be a diesel one.
Diesel cars are more sturdier compared to petrol variants as I see.
If one would run car for less than 1500Km a month ,petrol is more viable option.
Any given day diesel would be cheaper in india. If diesel prices equal petrol then all the prices shoot up like anything. Evn then diesel cars are more econimical as KMPL is high for diesel cars.
Radiation of heat is pure perceptional thing. I dont see such thing in my car till now.
More over diesel car more ecofriendly. I have read in international forums.
