That click is one your best. Loved the way that splashing water has been captured. Lens Please[:)].

" however be cautious when you go into these muddy waters , because there is every potential that the catalytic converter be damaged. "

im also bit curious about this as i heard only thing catalytic converter be damaged is by using leaded petrol - according to EURO standards EURO 3 + is recommended for catalytic converter fitted vehicles. where what happens is the led will distry to platinum layer on the catalytic converter which will be useless after that.[confused]
Me too read this on manual.[:)]
Catalytic converter may get damaged if the car is submerged in water. Since the converter operates at high temperature, sudden decrease in temperatures which may occur due to the car entering the cold water may lead to contraction and thereby increasing the possibility of cracks. Though it can happen only when the water level is dangerously high.

Good that you too got the 155/70 even Rakesh got the same.
Yes.[:)]

Why dint you try 165's ?
165's are too low profile and makes speedo reading wrong and it affects mileage calculation too,Then it reduces Ground Clearance too.[:)]

Do share the cost..
Got it for 3000RS per tire and got 4 TL Valves as free gift.[:)]

Aneesh. i have tested every aspect of the 165/70- R12 tires and i must say only slight issue is the ground clearance is 1cm lower than the original 145/80 R12. it took me 3 days to select the best tire. [glasses]
pros-
reduce the road noise
reduce the skidding
more stable on higher speeds
cons-
ground clearance is 1cm lower

and im 1000% sure that there is no issue such as speedo meter being in accurate after changing to low or high profile tires.
cops stopped me once for high speed my and speed gun both was accurate (130Kmph) i didn't even realize its running on that speed. [evil]

Its the case of 165/70-12,here only 165/60-12 is avail which shows a difference around more than 6%.[:)]

Major Update :D

Was having the Tak Tak Sound issue while driving through bad roads,So went to my mechanic and got it fixed,The reason for the sound was damaged stabilizer bar bushes.

On detailed checking, found some other parts also needs replacement,Reason was normal wear and tear, its almost 50k kms now, nothing replaced before,so replaced those parts too.

Parts Replaced Today:
Time Taken: 2 Hours

  • Steering Rack
  • Rack Pinion
  • Steering Tie Rod End
  • Tie Rod Inner Part
  • Stabilizer Bar Bushes

Total Spares costed me 1900RS including tax and Labour 540RS. As usual 100% satisfied with their work.[:)]

Replaced Tires too.Balancing 60RS per tire and Fitting charge 40 per tire,Alignment was free as i had done alignment few weeks back from there.
Rim was rusted,so installed it as TubeType.
Total 400RS at Tire shop.

Old tires are taken by my tire dealer and he paid me 1600RS for those 4 tires.[;)]

Replaced current Mirrors with Shell Type OVRM's. Costed me 570RS per piece.

Review:

Tires: Feeling smooth and silent than before. One thing i felt today is,now i can hear tire picking up stones and throwing inside the wheel well,On running period now, will update soon [lol]

After Replacing parts: No sounds as before, everything is silent and vibe free now.

Pics included. [lol]
