Yes its directly connected to battery through a separate switch.
For fog lamps ,you have to cut and remove that part. Check the pics[:D]

Actually it is very easy to remove that, have a close look and you can see there is marking for cutting from inside of the bumper. that part has very thin layer of plastic on edges . If you have a sharp knife ,you can cut it like an apple.[:D]

About that number plate bulbs, i will check and tell you tomorrow .

There is a fuse box under the dashboard just near your gas paddle . It is difficult to reach there . Just push driver seat backward to make some more space for work. Use torch to locate and remove the cap of fuse box . Now change the faulty fuses.[glasses]

Just take a good quality wire connection from your music system +ve 12v to your switch and then switch to lights. Light‘s -ve to car body. Don't forget to cover the joints with tape properly .[:D]

but won't that way melt my DRL switch? is it possible to use a switch without a relay? and if i connect + wire of my DRL to the power wire of car CD Player and negative to somewhere in car body will that work properly? and won;t that blow car CD Player fuse?

Returned from a short trip to Himachal Pradesh. It was a fantastic journey .[:D]

Be very careful. If have no or very less knowledge of electricals ,you should not go for any DIY without proper guidance .
Relay will be needed only if your lights need higher power otherwise not. DRLs i think don't need a relay. Check specifications of DRLs.
I am posting a picture for guidance . Ask me if you have doubts before starting anything.[;)]
