Hi Guys,
There was been lot of oil leaks near the crankcase.Adding to this joint bed and star too have depreciated a lot. Due to this i am feeling the jerk while driving in slow speeds and in neutral.
So planned to replace these. Since my mechanic was not available at this point of time, i thought of doing this in HM specialist south india motors this time.
Will post the images by this week after taking the delivery.

Hi Guys,
Crank case has been replaced to the HM Isuzu Type (Normal Metal). My Car had stock Aluminium Crankcase which i could not able to source it immediately. HM Isuzu Crank case is also good.
While taking delivery i was hearing a Knocking sound inside the Engine bay. As usual they told nothing we have done. So i took delivery and came home.
Yesterday i called my mechanic to analyse from where this was coming and he identified with ease that it was a Crank - Connect Rod Bearing. He also told that this sound might be coming earlier also which might went unnoticed due to the Aluminium Crank case. Since now we are having Normal Metal Crank case, the sound is audible.

Hi Guys,
Attaching some pictures while replacing the Connect rod bearing. It was very risky to change this Connect rod bearings. High Torque engine will always have more load on 3rd cylinder and Nasel too..
So while replacing the top bearing we need to do it carefully that it should not be pushed up. If its pushed up, then that's all, Engine head need to dismantled to restart the engine.
This connect rod bearing can be replaced easily while reworking the engine. It is tough when you work via bottom part without removing the Head portion of the engine.

Hi,
It all setup and started the engine and found that sound was still there. I have also enquired some of the mechanics whether they fitted HM Steel crankcase for imported G1 Isuze engine. They too confirmed there will be no issues in replacing it.
But we face the issue and last attempt to stop the sound, I am again replacing this new one with old aluminium crankcase itself.

My expense til now have crossed 1 lakh ..But the car is coming out well .Now the car is going for tinker works.

what side mirror you have fitted in your Amby ? I'm planning for ertiga mirror dude .
What fog lamp have you fitted dude? I have bought lancer's fog lamp .
Post a PIC of your Amby in front view dude ,Wanna see how the grill has came out ..I have showed yours ,but my mech is saying that only Grand's will look nice .(wanna show your and make him wrong)
As for now that's all buddy will post the PIC once I visit the car again ..

I just saw the post. I have fitted Esteem Side mirror and Qualis Fog Lamp.
I will post my grill images which i took earlier. as of now my car is in workshop so live picture i will get in weekend.

Grill images. But no this is not in grey, its pure Black and the chrome is not fitted yet.
If you use mesh (Net), there will lot of space you will get to fit the condenser and its fan.
Pure Black was very good for White Ambassador. I will post for your reference soon.

Grill Already fitted, only thing i didnt put was that Chrome peace in between the net.
Net you can get it near old bridge (Upplipalayam, Coimbatore). There you can get many type of net designs. In Local Hardware shops you can get the designs.

Dude, ll post the pics soonest .. Now the Amby is undergoing tinkering works in dindugal.Diky works done, now door work is going on .I need a suggestion about bumper ,actually bought an old bumber (actually a new one,he bought for his Amby but he dint did for his Amby it seems) from a workshop ,my tinker said that it won't fit ours.So I returned him that .Now my option is to buy a new one .Grand's bumber .Is it possible to get a original one ? Where to get ,?is it possible in adhitiya automobiles ??

You can get Grand type plastic/Fibre Bumper in Coimbatore. But Chrome Bumpers appeal more than this. At the same time, you need to take more care on these chrome parts, else soon it will be rusted.

plastic and fibre ? Till now i havent heard about plastic bumpers .Will check about that.I planned to install a fibre one.Yeah i accept that chrome ll be a better choice for good looks ,but that rusting part is pushing me towards fibre ones.How plastic differs from fibre ones ?
