Thanks champ. Yep, I have to get the eyelids asap. I guess the tints are Lamin-X light protective films. Paid around 300, from Galaxy,Mamangalam. I visited the 3M outlet opp Gold Souk couple of days back for a car wash. They've excellent service (y)

By Galaxy, you mean Muneem's shop right? Nice chap he is. And Lamin-X costs only that much? I read somewhere that it is really expensive? No idea. Next time I'm in Cochin, I'll get my fogs tinted blue and also get some white eyelids. [:D]
I also hope to give my car for a full fledged wash and wax at 3M sometime. Let me see what is in store for me.

Yep. That's the one! And 3M has amazing car care packages. Just a suggestion,instead of getting eyelids, paint your headlight assembly gloss black. It'll stand out.

Paint it gloss black as in? You mean the glass part or the silver part within the headlight assembly? On my recent trip to ekm, I realised how weak the headlights were on my way back at night. Till then, I was under the impression that the headlight was decent enough for highway drives. I was proved wrong last week. So I'm searching for Osram Nightbreaker plus here in Trivandrum and Kollam but without any luck at the moment. Thought of buying them from online. So if I smoke my headlamps, I don't know how I'll manage highway trips at night.

On another note, I thought of asking the VW showroom for the price of the new smoked headlamps that come in the Highline version [:D]

Just the inner silver part, like the new Highline Polo/Vento. I think they're within 15k. I upgraded my headlight bulbs to Hella. Not completely satisfied, but way better than stock ones!

Polo looks hot Rahul.Planning to get Yokohama S-Drives for our Vento in August.Can you give me the advantages and disadvantages of Yoko S-Drives?

Did you go for Hella with the stock rating or 100/90? I have Hella Rallye 100/90 bulbs in my Getz and the output is amazing but the downside is that my LHS headlamp has become dull.
If you are using 55/60 itself, I heard that the best is Osram Nightbreaker Plus. I am not sure because I haven't managed to find it in Trivandrum. Searched many places here but none stock Osram. All have Hella or Philips only.

Stock rating. No cut outs or anything. I'm trying to get those euro spec heads (with cylindrical compartments)

^^ Make sure you get correct couplers. Last time I heard they are not compatible with Indian Spec Polos.

That isn't a projector setup, is it? Why doesn't the headlight level adjust work? I thought it didn't work only when there were projectors installed.
