Following Hyundai's 'Pride of India' campaign, Mahindra too has announced a similar scheme called 'Bankers Bonanza'.

All bank employees can avail benefits upto Rs.25,000 starting from July till August 31 across the range of Mahindra four wheelers.

Speaking on the launch of the scheme, Arun Malhotra, Chief Sales & Customer Care Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, "Financiers are an integral part of the automotive business model since a majority of vehicle purchases are finance based in India. The introduction of this scheme is our way of acknowledging the support and valuable contribution made by bankers and providing a further fillip to our relationship going forward."

Discounts on SUVs this month

One of the most popular kind of cars in India, there's more reason this month for you to go shopping for SUVs. There's some very attractive deals on offer and you could save a whole lot on the asking price. Here's a look.

Mahindra dealerships across the country are offering a good benefit on all versions of the XUV500. There’s a flat cash discount of up to Rs 1,00,000 on any version. Alternatively on offer is free insurance, an exchange bonus, loyalty bonus and a corporate discount that add up to the same amount of savings.

Tata dealerships are also giving away a good deal on the Tata Safari Storme. There’s a flat cash saving of up to Rs 40,000 on any of the Storme variants on sale, along with insurance for the first three years at just Rs 10,000 (usually worth Rs 90,000 for three years). That's a total potential saving of up to Rs 1.2 lakh.

Luxury carmakers are also offering up some of their SUV models with benefits. There's a flat cash discount of up to Rs 3 lakh on the BMW X3 while Audi dealers are offering the Q5 SUV with up to Rs 2.5 lakh off on the price.

The insurance isn't free but available at Rs.10,000 for the first three years (Can be opted along with cash discount, of course). Just ask salesperson about the same.
