Got this message day before yesterday.
Think this was not the right time to launch the Verito by Mahindra because people have more interest in the ford showroom of what's going on with the ecosport.

The Ford showroom in Marathahalli has more number of visitors which had deserted looks a month back!

The Elite ford showroom at Marathahalli used to resemble the Sahara desert a couple of months back, with signs of humanity few and far. Now, they are acting like the hottest chick in town thanks to the Ecosport, and we are all at their mercy, begging and pleading with them to allow us mortals a fair test drive. Such is the state of affairs these days :-)

+100 to that and i am pretty sure if one bargains hard they will give some cash discount as well. [;)]

Yep, as i pass through it daily (my workplace is opposite to this showroom), at this time the SE's grow horn and raise up their attitude levels, when have they promised you the delivery of your ES?

I think they are ready to give discounts on other models of ford and just divert ecosport buyers to buy figo or fiesta.

I saw one today on the road and it has great road presence! Much better than the duster.

Hey Vishwas,

I didn't book the Ecosport. My choice in Ecosport was the 1.0L ecoboost version, and the waiting times are a ghastly 12 months. I am not willing to wait for even a spaceship that long! I was planning to book the Fiesta Classic 1.6, but have changed plans due to a potential 2nd Hand deal that I am trying to make :-) That's where it stands.

PS : Just on a side note, somehow I felt more comfortable dealing with the Metro ford guys than the Elite ford sales folks. Not sure why, it always felt like the Elite ford guys were trying to pull a fast one all the time.

Saw Maruti's Add today, they are increasing their discount offering on it's smaller Vehicle fleet e.g. 25K cash discount on Wagon R plus 6K corporate discount plus exchange bonus [surprise]

Interesting they never offer a loyalty bonus ;) and Alto800 has more cash discount that K10 indicating loss of interest in this model.

I am sure MS would be working hard in its design rooms to come up with new offering given the monthly decline they are seeing in their entry level varients

I am on a shopping spree. I am quoted a cash discount of 30,000 in delhi on Wagon R today. Didn't ask for exchange bonus or corporate discount as I dont qulify for either. Was any one offered a better deal ?
By the way what is this 3.39 Rs starting price offer on beat? Saw an ad online just now no other details mentioned.

saw the same add today with Era variant sold and also on specific shades only while enquiring from the dealer i brought from.
Another dealer told me to clear off stock of 2012 year manufactured vehicle, sold off on its old pricing.Though these were only verbal talks on phone.
