Today, I read in TIMES OF India.
The ' nissan car dealers forum' of India has decided ,not to purchase new cars for further sales. Reason- nissan is concentrating more on export than domestic sales. Facilities of ASS are lying unused due to low domestic sales. Dealers can make more money in ASS than in sales of new car!!!

Boils down to Rs.6K discount, not sure what you would do with 2 gms of Gold anyway.
As condition of a particular auto company worsen in this gloom, the more fanciful the marketing gimmick becomes.

Micra manufactured in India are exported to European, Middle Eastern and African markets. Not sure of MEast, but given the economic situation in Europe, I can only guess that not many Micras' are in demand.

Why you have ruled out 2011 model? If adequate discount is extracted from the dealer so as to compensate the depreciation at the time of resale and proper preregistration inspection is carried out, there should not be a problem with 2011 model.

There are somethings which you need to see -
* If you want to sell in 3 years, buying old car is bad, even if discounts are offered,
* More important aspect is that the car lies around in stockyard, which may have damaged it. Some people may realise it, some may not.
I can understand discounts of 2011 car has this been Jan-Mar 2012, but buying 2011 in Oct-Nov is bad idea. Wait for another 3 months & get 2012 for lesser price then.![[;)]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Wink.gif "Wink [;)]")

Just called TATA MOTORS 1800 they said for Indica Vista Diesel the current Discount is 20k Cash Discount and 20K exchange Bonus (total 40K). I asked them but as per your press release 55k is the discount on Vista Diesel.
He replies that for TATA Employees only. can you please confirm the same.
If current discount is just 20k Cash (and 20K exchange Bonus) this same offer is going on for ages.

When I enquired with them in Sep'12 for the Vista diesel, it was 20K cash discount and 25K exchange bonus. Apart from this, there was corporate discount .. however do not exactly remember what that amount was.

Tata gave good discounts for it's Diesel vehicles.Manza EX-L(Top Version) in Hyderabad costs about 10.3L and EX(Mid Version) costs about 9.9L,which is Rs.40K cheaper than EX-L.Too costlier.In another 50K,we could get Sunny XV Diesel and in another 1L,we could get Vento,Rapid,Verna.If we put another 40K to 50K,we could get Linea Emotion after discounts.Before discounts,it is 11.17L and after discounts,it is 10.7L.Not advisable to buy a top-end Manza.And,Safari LX is Rs.40K cheaper than Manza EX-L and almost at par with EX pricing.And,after discounts,Safari would come about Rs.9L,which is Rs.1.3L cheaper than Manza Top Version.
So,better buy Safari LX,who wants much space and comfort and bigger looks.
