Today I received a call from Balaji Motors, Ghodbunder road, Thane. They have few FIAT Punto/Linea 2011 models in stock and want to clear the same. If any one interested can contact them. Stock is available for both Petrol and Diesel and they are giving good discounts for the same.

When calling them or if any go ahead buying the same, please inform them that you are my (Dharmesh Tailor) friend. They have promised me accessories worth Rs. 2000 on every sale through me. or we both can take accessories worth Rs.1000 each from them for free.

Accessories, Fitments shown may not be a part of standard equipments”. You should better check out with the dealership for actual terms and conditions.

The bit of news that i came to know here.

Manza base diesel has 20k off.
40k off for exchange bonus.
on road for base model is 6.08L and subtract these discounts!

When closing in on such deals check whether the warranty starts from the date of sale or from the date of manufacturing.

@ ilango is the price 6.08L for the petrol version?? base version aqua diesel is stated as 6.49 ex showroom.

6.08 on road for a diesel less discounts will be a steal.

there is a flat discount of 10,000 on all nano versions.

plus if you book within this week, you'll get some acc. kit worth rs. 4000

and if you have any bajaj or hero honda bike to have exchange with nano, you'll get price of your bike + 10,000 exchange bonus also.

This means Safari starts from 7.95L onwards. I think the prices may drop further as stock clearance happens once Storme is launched.

Volkswagen clearing 2011 stock

People in the market for a petrol car from german automaker this is the time to lighten up your wallet.
Volkswagen India is offering massive discounts on 2011-manufactured petrol variants of its Polo hatchback and Vento saloon.

The 2011 1.2 and 1.6 petrol Polo is being offered with a massive Rs 50,000 cash discount. In addition, you get free insurance and a two-year annual maintenance contract (AMC) worth Rs 60,000 collectively. That adds up to Rs 1.1 lakh or a 20.5 percent discount on the on-road Mumbai price of the base Trendline variant.

The petrol Vento is being offered with a flat Rs 1 lakh cash discount for the 2011 model, and if you want to order a 2012 model, you will have to wait for up to a month for its delivery. It is not because VW is flooded with bookings but because the car is being made in limited batches – so an order needs to be sent to the factory to manufacture the petrol model. Even 2012 petrol 1.2 Polos get free insurance and AMC worth Rs 60,000.

Although you will register a 2011 model in 2012 when you buy it, the date of manufacture being 2011 will affect its price when you decide to sell it. Most individual buyers don’t check the date of manufacture but used car dealers do, and will quote a lower price compared to a car manufactured in 2012.
