Buddy, I feel LEDs are way better than DRLs, as they are Cheapp, Waterproof ones are also available and the Light output is ok for the price. So, VFM!

@Gdave - Buddy, Put some plastic thing/Wrapper/Cover over it (A small one) to protect it from water. Anyways, Are only 3 working now! Did the Shopkeeper told you that he can replace the bulbs?

Naveen, your swift is looking very cool and sexy. One of the best mod I have seen, clean work.

I wanted to ask a few doubts.
How is the connection made to the ORVM indicators?

I have seen DRL which you have put in the front. Did you had any problem with water getting inside and getting the LED /circuit board damaged?

Because I had a set of DRL cost 3000/- and after one month of time 7 out of 10 LED got damaged. The shop keeper told its because of the water getting inside the DRL that fused the LED's.
It will be because of car washing which caused the water to get inside since it never rained after I fixed them.

Have you put any covering or something to protect it from water? and any realys required?
Thanks Gdave. I havent connected the ORVM indicators. Will take sometime since I was busy with work. Will definitely update the thread when its done.

Yes, cheap DRL's will have a problem with water seepage. I have been using this for almost a year now. Currently two LED's are not working, thanks to some long trips during monsoons.

The DRLs wont need any relays and I havent put any extra protection. Washing the car is one major cause for this problem. I wash the car every week with power hose. That might be a problem too. If you are going for costly DRL's go for Philips. Else you go for chinese DRLs. Am using chinese DRL's. Liked the life of it so got another set which is still packed.

for the turn signal Leds you gonna place on the mirrors or behind the mirrors like the petes i20?
i guess both the jobs are little tedious as you need to drill holes on door then remove door pads etc etc..

or you have a better idea . please share. after seeing this i too feel like gettin the same :)

My friend got the same stuff in his Swift. There's no drilling required. The wires will be behind the mirror and runs through the internal adjustment mechanism.
Anyways, have to wait and see how the mechanic will do.

Oh. Saw a swift with White+ Grey theme. Was white in colour. Same as your model. Had Grey side skirt and paint was there on the wheel arches and the rear and bottom of the bumper.
IT had the BUMPER LIP you were talking of. They were Grey coloured.
Looked nice.
Till I saw it and slowed down my car to pick my phone for a photo. It zoomed past, It maybe more than 120 kmph. And my car bumped on the rocks lying on the offside of the road and stopped in the grass where a GUTTER scraped my bumper! :(
You can see the pic of the bumper now. It has scratch in the Left side. See the pic in my ownership section-

Thanks dude. It works like a normal indicator but this will be fixed on the ORVM. It will be something like this. I paid around 400/- (Dont remember exactly)
Thanks Naveen but still how it would work ? I mean the thing you are holding in hand is working when you are pressing the button but how it would work when you turn the desired indicator ?
