Re: swift vxi petrol service help

My bad, its 5w30 and 10w40 available grades in Castrol Magnatec.

Since your car manual recommends 5w30, you can go for it.

0w20 is available from Shell Helix HX8 and Servo MGO which are specially made for Maruti Suzuki cars and I think ASC uses this grade.
i am going with mobil 5w30 i need a good pickup do i have to do engine flush when going from mineral to synthetic

In Mobil 5W30, there are two options, Newer Vehicle formula and ESP. you may select NWF. should be around 3k.
Flush is not neccessary but still can do it. for flush use liqui moly. Its very good product

Re: Synthetic Gear Oil?

I am using Synthetic Gear oil, Synthetic oils have same weight as a normal oil. You wont feel any difference, it just lasts longer. So it will do less wear over time.
Hi Abhijit,
Last year we got in touch here through the Altis tyre upsize thread. Hope you remember me. Can you please let me know which Gear oil you use for Altis? Also please let me know the gear oil specs from the Owners Manual for Altis. Thanks.

regards,
Shammi
