Hello Friends,

I have completed 10k last week with my POLO, went for a general check up and top up 500 Ml Engine Oil any way VW Maduri Charged 450 for a check up and 100 as oil top up charge !!! and 500 Rs for oil
Vehicle is super smooth now, did 140- 150 couple of times , my father was shouting :) I believe the best gear for overtaking is 3rd for TDI Polo

Planing to get AMC , is there any difference between AMC and extended warranty ?

Hi yathi congrats for 10k km on this beautiful machine. I hope general check up is free. In my case it was free check up.
Me had done some 160-170 many times but for small periods only , Very stable at high speeds and breaks are good at that speed also.
Regarding AMC, there is no AMC option available in TDI`s i.e diesel cars it is only available in petrol cars. You can opt for extended warranty it will cost you around 8-9k.

Buddy, many congrats on reaching 10K on your ride (I too reached the same couple of days back). Just curious, how many kms were on the old oil? If they were a lot then it's not advisable to top-up. Mixing fresh and burnt oil is not good for engine.

Congrats buddy for 10k mark, i like the enthu. with which you post everything. But don't you think charges like top up charge and checkup charge is way too much. I mean charges even for oil top up, that is ridiculous.

AMC is for servicing of car, but its not available for diesel.
The original warranty for polo is for 2 years from time of purchase. With extended warranty, its extended to four years and comes for a price of 8-9k as above member said. If you want the extended warranty then take it before you complete one year otherwise the amount will go higher.

Hi Yathi congrats for crossing 10K mark.

AMC stands for annual maintenance contract which VW offers for petrol models only till i last inquired. AMC covers scheduled consumables of each service. For petrol model this will cost you 18-20K for one year.

Extended warranty extends first free 2 years of warranty by another couple of years which covers your vehicle against any manufacturing defects of the vehicle. I got this one for my Polo TDI at the time of purchase and it was of 8-9K i think.

Yes they charged for me oil top up :( any way no use of arguing with those people but i was quite happy with approch of VW maduri compared to few horrible dealers i met before

Was bit confused with AMC and warranty now am clear , believe getting waranty is good idea.

also planning for Leather seat cover for my Beauty next month from Karlsson Leather Bangalore, quality same as stanley !!
Few design i short listed and should be in beige colour

Friends your inputs most welcome as always :)

The last one with red line ? or pure beige ?

i would like to keep only beige :) coz it will give a laxuary look inside i belive just a thought , if my car was Red i would have done super cool design in seat cover
what am thinking beige or ivory with pepper grey line
how about that ?

Right hand side bottom, pure beige.
Yes, beige is sort of luxury but gets too boring sometime. Mix of dark and light color makes it all rounder.

There will be any difference in terms of comfort , heat , durability etc.. if go for multiple lines instead of plain design in seat cover attached few sample pics here, your inputs really counting
Planning to get it done in leather soon

Looks good.
I don't know whether multiple line will give more comfort or not, but lines look good rather than plane ones.

Hello Rightnow,

I have completed 10k , help me when should i do a whell alignment and rotation of tyres, is it ok that i can do it at 15K ?
