Hello Rightnow,

I have completed 10k , help me when should i do a whell alignment and rotation of tyres, is it ok that i can do it at 15K ?
Preferably it is said that wheel alignment should be done every 5k kms. I would advice get the wheel alignment done right now itself and all four wheels also rotated to increase the life of your tyres. I have also completed 10k few days back and got the wheel alignment and balancing along with rotation of all 4 tyres done.

Regarding the set covers - really liked the striped ones. How much are they quoting for that?

You should get it done now to keep minimum damage to tyres. I have heard people say that 5k interval is fine to get alignment and rotation done.

and for seat cover is 36000 including door trim and wheel cover in highquality leather from Karlsson..the quality Par with stanley

The fit and finish is really impeccable but IMO they are way too costly. But genuine leather does costs a bomb, so no surprises there. So which one have you decided to go for?

Hello Rightnow,

I am planning to get alloy for Comfortine TDI POLO , need to ask few questions experts

1) Whether its okay to go for current tyres with 14" alloy wheels instead of 15" with new tiers.
2) Will upgrading to 15" will affect fuel Economy? I am more concern about this now coz as fuel price is going like a rocket
3) Incase if am upgrading to 15'" i will go after two years only as my current tyres already crossed 10k and can’t exchange the tyre now for a good price so after two years or 30000 Km if I upgrade to 15" will there be any problem for Suspension Set up.

Don't think about these silly things, you are not doing any drastic upgrade. Its normal up-size. Don't think just go for it with proper config. of tires.

Hope doing good,

Its been so long that i have posted in forum since was out of location for a project

My car was completed 15k mark :) 3 months back but my father was waiting for me to take him to service stattion
Will service the car this weekend , will post the details soon

@ jihu , coming to VW kannur for 1st service :)

Nope. I got them from vw for around 400 bucks. Tell them to bring the cost down otherwise get blades from outside.
Yes , am getting that from outside any brand in your knowledge
and another important update , VW is clearing old stock of alloy wheels 2011, 2012 for 5300 each instead of 21k per alloy !!
any one intrested check in the nearest hub
