In petrol models there is no AMT, pure AT only, in diesel there is AMT model.

Dear friends
MSIL upgraded the cabin filter in new swift from 2014 and in dzire from 2015, but service centres are using old cabin filter. New cabin filter is bigger in size and prescribed cfm delivery. Parts no are below.
1. Old cabin filter 95861M74L00 - Rs.350
2. New cabin filter 95850M79M00 (Title: Cabin filter for Ciaz and new Swift) - Rs.395
I just replaced with new upgraded one, air filtering is excellent.

while driving normal traffic i put 3rd gear and maintain 40 to 50km speed. is it correct or wrong.

It is very good practice, keep driving in the same way, engine will not be lugging so you get more life from piston rings and overall engine.

the 20k service is on due for my Dzire..
and is it necessary to get serviced my dzire from MS dealer only (as 20k = paid service and MS dealer is gonna to charge more unnecessary) ???
As they keep on saying that the extended warranty will be void if i won't get serviced my dzire from them..
please help me with this regards.. and thanks in advance..

I do not belive in these 20k, 30k services, but dealer threatens you void of extended warranty just do below mentioned
1. Change engine oil(0W20) shell fully synthetic costs Rs.1500
2. Air filter change(usually they change at 40K but that is too long)
3. No wheel balancing and alignment, if they have done this at 10K then let them do it again.
4. No Brakes pads and shoes cleaning
5. No AC disinfection.
6. Do coolant replacement with strictly MGO coolant only.

Hi Visnu sorry for the late reply.
They use sand paper to clean brake pads and shoes it creates surface irregularities due that when you brake at high speeds car vibrates a lot, over the time disk and drum surfaces also become uneven and mitigate this issue further. Brakes should be cleaned with compressed air or with special brake cleaning spray. present generation brake shoes will not generate brake dust so not to worry regarding skidding of the brakes due to dust. Manufacturers designed the drums in such a way that any brake dust formed will be blown out of the drum. Rear brake cylinders are now a days designed to go up to 1 lak km.

You mean coolant temperature guage not working or outside temperature. Outside temperature is not available in Vxi model.

Sir just like temp shown in Ertiga ZDI SHVS.
I don't know whether this feature is in Dzire or not.

That feature is available in Swift Dzire Zxi and Zdi models. It shows outside temperature. Not available in Vxi and Lxi variants.
