Hi all,
Yesterday i did the first service of ertiga at 500kms. It took 4hrs in all, the engine has been tuned up well. Now i am getting avg.of 15-30 kmpl. It actually looked cleaner now more than when i took delivery, because when i took delivery it was night.

Congrats and welcome to the Ertiga club mate! I have the same blue zdi and when I checked your body graphics I miss them on mine. When I took delivery those decals weren't in stock. Enjoy your drive and let me tell you as you keep driving the engine really opens up! I was a bit skeptical when I drove the first 2000 to 3000 kms. After that, the performance became better and better and now after 17000 kms and Kodaikanal, Ooty, Yercaud and thousands of highway kms and city driving, the engine is superb!

I would suggest you change to synthetic engine oil at 10k service. It's worth it! My engine now performs like a 2 litre and returns mileage like a 1.3! Who says you can't have the cake and eat it too!!! [:D]

Enjoy your drive mate and keep us posted. After seeing your pic, I'm going to get those body graphics ASAP! [clap]

i have paid 10.40 L (including accessories - seat cover, rear vie camera with sensors, upper body spoiler, body side molding, body graphics, steering wheel cover, ) price for Ertiga ZDi with alloy at Kottayam, Kerala. I think its very costly in Bangalore.
Congrats brother what mileage are you getting ?
No, the price above doesn't include accessories.
Can you please tell the ex showroom price and details .

Till first service my Ertiga ran for 510 KM with full tank and after service I got it refilled till full tank. It drank 31 litre of Diesel till brim.

So the average I got is 510/31 approx 16.5KMPL, pretty impressive.

The meter was showing 10-12 for 1st 100 KM then gradually it increased till 17.6 KMPL.

Good buy Mate[clap]

Nice practical car!

Is the ride and handling in the Innova territory? Will you recommend it for someone with bad back?

Enjoy the drive.

Rgds,

Charlyth
