Hi Everyone

I bought my maruthi Ciaz Alpha. I drove from showroom and engine wise very smooth.

But when i try park my vehicle i observed a sudden increase in noise from engine and got down immediatly and after 3-4 seconds again same.

Is this the major Problem ?
Is air conditioner on? if so observe tachometer when compressor on rpm goes up to 800 that time slight engine noise can observed this happens in calm area not audible in traffic. Switch off AC and observe tachometer there should not be any erratic rpm jump.

My vehicle is not even 1 yr old. I have visted the service centre more than 3 time with a same electric issue which the service centre is not capable to handle. The problem with my vehicle is that at times it would not start neither the key will work nor any other electric equipment.
I have already been stranded on road more than five times because of this issue and when I take my vehicle to sevice centre they are unable to detect any fault. No fault in battery nor any fault in electric system is all what I hear from technicians. Now I am fed up of visiting the service centre because I know it is going to be futile. The fault that comes when the computer is attached to the vehicle is "key rejection". I had a word with the head electrician at MASS Naraina New Delhi, he told me this error only comes when battery is drained out totally but to the contrary battery is in perfect condition.
The strange thing is after half an hour or so my ciaz would be normal as if there was no issue at all.
Does anyone of you has faced such issue ?
Please Help...

I think its an issue with software related to the Keyless entry-Push button start.(I am assuming that the "Key not detected inside the vehicle sign is displayed on the console ).If so then ,i think it requires complete Key as well as Vehicle reprogramming with a new Key and its corresponding software module.
Your car will be in warranty period i presume,so there won't be any charges.If they deny your service ,you can shoot to MSIL.

Are you certain it's not the engine cooling fan? It will typically turn on when the vehicle is stationary, to get air moving through the radiator.

I would suspect a malfunction in the key electronics - which could cause it to intermittently not validate with the vehicle. Do you have a spare key you can use for a while, to see if the issue recurs?

Received a SMS from dad on 16th that Ciaz has been sent for service and if additional work needs to be done,I should let him know. By the time I saw the SMS,it was 2 PM. I asked him as why was the car sent for service as the service is due next month for the 2nd year , even the ODO reading stands at 11k. He told he got a call from MASS to send the car as the vehicle is due for service and some monsoon camp is going on where engineers from Maruti would be supervising the work. They even sent a driver to pick up the car from home.
The car is sent back home around 6 PM and the final bill comes to 5700. I had told dad to inform SA that no additional work is required, only general service, the bill should have been 3500 as per Maruti app. Not convinced, I asked dad to whatspp me the bill and I see 3 unsolicited jobs were performed-wheel alignment, wheel balancing, rear brake drum something and brake master cylinder cleaning. Also, incorrect oil filter was used,K10 instead of K00. I immediately asked him to ask the SA to whatsapp the alignment and balancing details . The SA told that no such records are provided. I wanted to get a confirmation on the oil filter part no before confronting the SA, So I called up Nexa helpline,the executive told they don't have the details and asked to send a mail so that they can check and get back. I did so, and the response received was to contact the nearest MASS. This was the final nail on the coffin. I shot another mail to Nexa and maruti describing the incident. got a call from the AGM service of the service center around 9 PM. He told he received a complaint,but hasn't gone through.He wanted to speak to me to know the problem. My only question was do you provide a wheel alignment and balancing copy to customer,he told we definately do. I told him nothing was provided even after asking. He told he will get back next day after checking the service records.I recived another call around 10 PM from the SA and the service manager, as I could not receive,they texted that they need to speak to me. Next day they had come home around 8 AM,met dad and asked him to take back the complaint and they will get everything fixed.Initially they told that all the jobs were completed and an estimate was provided prior to completing the job. As per our approval the jobs were carried out. One more thing during this time they had told the final bill would be around 4500-5000 post some discount as per the freedom service camp.Not even a single ruppee discount was provided. Dad told he is unaware of all this and talk to me. They never called me but called up dad again to say sorry and all this will not happen in future. They literally accepted their mistake. Dad told if a complaint is raised,they need to respond to that in writing. The SA told if the complaint is not closed within 24 hours it will affect his job and all. So I asked dad to sign the form only after the oil filter is changed. As the oil filter was out of stock,dad signed the form. The SA and technician visted today and got the filter changed.

Hello,

All of the sudden, I am.having an error on my SHVS, Amber light on my dashboard screen is blinking Aoff and I tried using the switch turn my hybrid system to turn it back on but it just blinking.

Further more I notice, my Green light of SHVS is not even coming up on high speed and acceleration is off as it should be (meaning SHVS is not charging anymore). I checked all doors n trunk.. all are shut properly but I just don't know how to get my hybrid system back on!

Please help

The service centres run by certain Dealership spoils the name of the Brand itself.
Even here its the same,when Popular Maruti Suzuki told for camp ,the wash is a paid one,Sarathy Motors had clearly told its completely free sir.[surprise]

You may escalate to higher levels so that these fellows know power of customer.

Dear Milind, I am also facing the same problem for last four days and my CiazZDI+ has done about 35000 km in last 2.5 years. The battery is also in good condition.
Can someone help in resolving the issue?

This happens when the battery is going dead. I've had the same issue and mind it now it is winter time the battery will drain almost immediately. So please replace the battery ASAP as normally hybrid car battery last for about 2 yrs only. Also, get the same spec new battery which only Exide is making for Ciaz hybrid with 70ah capacity.

Hello everyone. I own a 2018 ciaz sigma. Recently we went to ayodha hills in western part of west Bengal in this car. While coming back we discovered the chill from aircon is less than satisfactory. According to my observation we are getting the cold air only when the fan is working. Otherwise there is no flow of air from the vent. Never experienced this in any other car. Any input is welcome.

I HAVE 3 PROBLEM IN THAT CAR
1- SOME OTHER NOISE FROM INSIDE CAR.A IT SOUND FROM MIDDLE.
2- IF I DRIVE ABOVE 140KM/H SOME SOUND COMING.
3- HEADLIGHT I CANNOT ADJUST TO MY SELF.
