how much did the alloys cost you mate? What was the cost of painting the exteriors white (orvms, bumpers, handles) and why is your head light blackened on the sides in the above pics

Cost of Alloys: 12k.
For painting of bumpers, ORVMs, handles, and misc works, i had to shell out 3k. This was done at Honda service centre who is a friend of mine.

The headlight has been blackened just to add some appeal to the face. It is a vinyl work which can be removed anytime.

The painting works seems pretty cheap, as here the person (local shop) is telling 3k only for the bumpers(silky silver). Can you post some closer pics of the headlight?

The metallic colors definitely cost higher, but 3k is to much for a local job. For headlight you can check the previous pages of my report for the close up pics.

Ok, thanks, Actually his shop is on a very famous place and thus many customers get attracted, so he has increased the prices. What is the cost of the New alto k10 type mirrors as you have on your baby suzuki?(black)

Yeah, that was a reasonable cost for getting the bumpers (and others parts) painted. Same job on my car was done for slightly higher than this at Maruti Suzuki authorized workshop that too with an average workmanship.

Actually his shop is on a very famous place and thus many customers get attracted, so he has increased the prices.

Where is that workshop located in Delhi?

Thanks Iron Rock. No more mod plans as of now. The only thing which i have planned to is give her to A.S.S for rectification of rattle caused by the ridiculous roads of Ranchi.

Due to some professional reasons, i cant get a new car. My Alto will do duty at least for the next 7 month; may switch to some other car then.

The way you are maintaining your ride, I do not think any reason why you should be changing it in next 7 months also. Unless, you want something more powerful and spacious.

350Z : the workshop is located in Faridabad in the YMCA chowk which is nearby many sectors and the car accessory market known as tikona park, near the M.A.S.S. (vipul motors). His shop, on some days, gets the attraction of BMWs and Audis even the shop is a small one and the all work is done on the ground (roadside). My car had 2 dents and a broken taillight(Rs.1500) and it took a whole day for him, its so much rush there.

You have already mentioned the reasons for why i have thought of a change. Till then, my baby Alto will get the pampering.
