Re: Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Ownership Review

I am too a proud alto owner., loved your car please tell me the price of spoiler and fog lamps
Thanks rakesh. The spoiler costed 2000bucks (W/O painting). As for the fog lamps, i got them for Rs. 800, though i must admit, the quality of the lamps was pathetic. I had to upgrade to Philips bulbs after a month.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Ownership Review

Thanks Dhaya. Will keep that thing as it is.
Btw i will be going for the swift foglamp assembly(cost- rs.1300 approx for a pair), because the aftermarket assembly which is currently installed, is prone to water entry due to inferior quality due to which one or the other fog lamp gets fused. I have changed 3pairs of bulbs(1 was stock) in past 1years.
it is easy to fit branded light inside the after market fog lamp holder, I brought one from an accessory shop for rs650 and planing to fit on my alto.[frustration]

Re: Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Ownership Review

Update: My car has gone for denting painting/ Detailing job today. I will be going home this weekend for Diwali and on my way back, i will drive my car to Ranchi, where i am posted. The ICEing will be done on Monday, so guys dont forget to pour in your suggestions in this thread: http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/car-entertainment/5060-suggestions-ice-setup-my-alto.html.
My car is back.
Denting painting job was done at Honda paint shop. I must admit, they did a wonderful job. Further more, i gave my Alto a 3M treatment as Diwali gift. Costed just Rs. 2600. Pics to come soon.

The car looks clean but time to switch over to alloys. I can make out that present wheel covers have lost their novelty. BTW, That’s a beautiful parking location.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Ownership Review

@rakeshkn, There are many scratch removers available in the market. But none of them gives you extraordinary results. So my suggestion is that if the scratches are minor, better ignore them and live with it

My car reached Ranchi last week. However, since i was on a tight schedule, our driver drove it from Nagpur to Ranchi.

Re: Maruti Suzuki Alto LX: Ownership Review

where did you sourced the clock and it came with temperature gage?
I bought the digi-clock for 200 bucks. And no, it doesn't have a temp gauge. Also i recently removed it as it malfunctioned.
