body roll

Jayesh how is the body roll and high speed(>100kmph) stability of eeco. Do you feel need of power steering at parking speeds?

hello subhendu, welcome to the TAI FAmily.

My eecos fine and running very well..
nothing new so no updates will be doing some modifications soon and then will update :)

Eeco does have body roll above 100 being tall it gets hit by wind and body roll is very much present.
By rule not to push eeco above 85.. I have pushed her till 125 when fully loaded on straight stretch.

Power steering is very much needed for easy parking, but I have got used to it, I am able to park my eeco with ease [:D]

Hi Jayesh Sir,

Went through your thread from beginning to the last post. Brilliant ownership thread.
I have a few queries to ask you, as one of my friend is looking for a new/very less used eeco.

1. Read about too many wheel alignment issues (uneven wear)
2. Max mileage with 7people on board
3. Safe speed for highway driving - again with 7 on board?
4. My friend already owns a Omni 8 seater, is the cabin noise lesser/same as Omni?
5. Are there any deal breakers in this car - like poor power/ braking etc

-------------
1. There used to be issues with uneven Tyre wear , but its sorted now.
2.I get around 12/14 with steady speed
3.for very safe driving 80 kmph is the best I have done around 130 with seven on board( don't do its risky)
4.there's no cabin noise expect music & chatting..[;)]
5. if you are driving around safe speed braking is good, but if going above limits then you have to be careful.
6. you can add power windows and central locking to it, It requires a set of special power connectors for sliding doors.[:)]

Hope i have been able to answer your queries.....[:)]one more thing just jayesh is fine........

Jayesh,
Thanks for sharing your experiances with us. Surprised to see that there are no informative threads regarding EECO. Yours is really helpful.

Regarding power windows for sliding door...I've checked with autocop guys, they providing power windows for front doors only, says not possible to install power windows to sliding doors. They charging approx 5k for 2 front doors power windows.

Kindly guide regarding power windows for sliding doors.

I dont know about the price for power window..
for installing power window on the sliding door you will need to use the sliding door switch i had purchased them from Alibaba for around 400 a switch, am attaching an image of the same. This switch passes on the power to the motor on the sliding door when it is closed.you power window on the sliding door will only work when the door is closed.
You can also use this switch to install central lock.
You need separate switch for this , as per my limited knowledge.
