FS Oils costs a bomb,As its very old,Do a flush before doing an oil change.

Not sure about exact price,HX7 costs around 1200rs i think. Its Semi Synthetic,FS will cost you around 2000-3000 for a can.

Was thinking about it,But not sure where's the drain bolt.

The gear oil drain bolt is located below the gearbox, it cant be opened using a spanner, instead a "bit" is required, which looks like the mounting point of an empty rachet.

Not sure I understand... did you mean allen key? If not, some pictures/links would be great. Allen keys are described at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hex_key

I use Shell Helix Hx5 15w40 on my car, but I have done only 39500kms so far.The engine sounds more harsh, but I am yet to find a suitable alternative.

Harikishen95 you can try servo 20w40.

It is not an allen key, it is the empty air gun point (I really dont know the name), here are a few pics of the empty air tool (without any spanner type bits) with which Maruti service centers open the gear oil drain bolt in WagonR (even alto is similar)

I kept it in a can and use it for lubing gates hinges,wheels etc. Or you can give it to local workshops,they will take it.

dear aneesh, what size socket tool (the cap type oil filter wrench you have shown) have you used to remove the oil filter. I am confused whether to go for 70 mm or 68 mm. I need to purchase it online so I need exact specifications.

Here it is,Just an example,i measured like this.Its 65mm.
