Oh Lord! Why.. even if they had to facelift the k10, they should have taken their time and gone for a better design.
A cross between Celerio and Alto800 it is, and it feels they tried to take the best of both and create something good but then it doesn't seem that way.
I don't want to start a riot here but then it's high time Maruti comes out of their shell and rehires their car design team, as they're working like Software engineers (pun intended, no offense), Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V.

As everyone knows, it's a Maruti, so it'll sell, any car they dishout with good performance.

Slotted below the Celerio, the Alto will be the most affordable "Automatic" (AMT) car!

Under the hood, the Alto K10 will continue using the 1.0-liter three-cylinder K-Series petrol engine, which on the current model produces 68 PS (67.04 bhp) at 6,200 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Currently, the car is available solely with a 5-speed manual transmission. With the launch of the new K10, Maruti will offer an automated manual transmission (AMT) alongside the manual, as the bootlid of one of the cars reveals the ‘Auto Gear Shift’ logo.

Maruti 800 was a very beautiful car that's why it has good resale value even today. Nobody can forget that type 1 maruti Zen. It has very good resale value too. it looks 100 times better than AStar, Alto 800 and this facelift of alto K10.
No offence to the owners . It is my personal opinion.

Absolutely agree with @Saroya
Also, the Zen was and is quite a sleek looking car from it's time. I never really liked when they released the Zen Classic or the Zen Estillo, the latter simply looking like a big box. And ironically, the advertisements for Zen Estillo portrayed other cars as box(literally as boxes), that kind of amused me and puzzled me at the same time.
(No offense intended to the owners, it's only intended towards the so-called design team of our dear MSIL)

Well, even though this facelift has lost the originality in design, it is not all that bad.
To me It looks much better than the current Alto 800 which looks like a Figo 800!
The orange color looks good and black alloys with thicker and bigger tires will make it quite good.
