I really like the look of it. I would have loved to see the spare wheel on the tail gate..the rear side profile looks like the merc ml320 kind of in my view. I love the looks of this [thumbsup]

Wow! M&M has a got a stunner. The honey-comb grille is a bit too much on the face. But the posture of the car is amazing. And it looks hot in red! [clap]

Now the pricing would be very important. Let's wait & watch.
Looks like Aria's sales will further reduce.

Isn't the SUV overdesigned? Specially front bumper, kink in C pillar, crease in rear door just below the windscreen, AC vents etc.

This is a modern & brute design no doubt, but does not have the symmetry of a Scorpio.

Purple Club, where SA's would be turned into Relationship manager and only special attention is provided to XUV5oo customers.

The formula one winners has been announced.

The car is available in W6 & W8/ W8 AWD variants.

W6 Ex showroom Delhi: 10.8 lacs.
W8 Ex Showroom Delhi: 11.95 lacs.

Anand Mahindra adressing the media.

Xuv5oo, will be launched tomorrow in Johanesburg(South Africa).
And 6 months later to Europe & US.

Phase 1 launch will be in Delhi, Chennai , Mumbai, Bangalore.

Suddenly the dream car for many would now be within their reach.
Tatas need to seriously re-think the strategy for Aria now.

AT is on cards but not now.
AWD version is available in W8 version costs 12.88 lacs Ex showroom, Delhi.

XUV5oo claimed ARAI mileage is said to be 15.1 kmpl, which was compared with Bolero which gives mileage of 15.6 kmpl.

So way ahead of Fortuner.

Thanks Mukesh for the timely updates. Mahindra has quite encouragingly designed the XUV5OO in order to meet the international standards. And looking at so many pictures, I absolutely believe that it’s a huge leap forward and a masterpiece from a local manufacturer like Mahindra. Though as others said, design is a bit too much enthusiastic and hence, it has been overdone on the front, especially the excessive usage of honey comb grille which doesn’t looks pleasing enough but then, on the other hand, if you look at the pricing – for one, it can be easily overlooked. There is a huge possibility that this car will recreate the success story, just like what the Mahindra Scorpio did. Following is the introductory price list of all available variants Ex. Showroom, Delhi. [thumbswink]

- W6: Rs.10.8 Lakhs
- W8 - Rs.11.95 Lakhs
- W8 (AWD): Rs.12.88 Lakhs

There was no answer in particular for that question from M&M seniors.
Their answer was it is in testing phase.

The prices they have mentioned will be valid for next 3 months, & further rise depends on price rise of commodities.
