I really don't like Facelift version of XUV5OO.
As usual mahindra overdone front side in this facelift version. too much use of chrome makes it uglier. already XUV5OO received mixed reaction & this one will get more bashing from reviewers.
Only thing we can do is hope in flesh it will look good! [thinking]

For interior, full marks for mahindra designers as they solved reflection issue by changing dashbord design a bit & filmsy cover on meters is now part of dashboard.

So Mahindra XUV5OO Facelift will come on 25th May 15. Teaser Pic looks same as Scorpio Facelift Teaser pic.

LED lights are highlighted in black background which in actual condition works in night only

Btw after clicking on participate option, found new colour on yahoo website.

The XUV500 will get a new top-of-the-line variant, which will be called W10. This variant will be priced approximately Rs. 1 lakh more than the W8. The vehicle gets a new DVD-compatible infotainment system with a 7-inch screen. This screen doubles up as a display for the reversing camera, which has a zoom function. The W10 will also be equipped with all the features that we had seen on the XUV500 Xclusive Edition plus a start/stop button and new black and beige interior. Additionally, the ORVMs of the car get a new light on the lower surface, which lights up the road with "XUV500" lettering when they are open.

Unfortunately, Mahindra will not launch an automatic version of the XUV500 with this facelift.

Any update about Most awaited Automatic Transmission for New Age XUV5OO? Tried to contact my friend who works for Mahindra but he is in training so not able to get any information.

Hope mahindra will launch AT version with the New Age XUV5OO, last time Mahindra directly closed the topic of AT version at New Generation Scorpio Launch Event.

1) No the brake hardware will be the same but they have tweaked the brake pedal for a bit more bite.
2) Nope, the engine and transmission remain the same.
3) Yes, built in reverse camera with zoom feauture ( only on the all new W10 variant)
4) As the headlamps remain the same, don't expect it to get any better.
5) As the engine and transmission remain the same I don't think there will be any improvements in this area too. Though I'm not sure about this one.
6) I think its there on the W10 variant cause there have to be more features for demanding a 1 lakh premium over the W8 variant.

If a sliding middle row is provided then yes.

They might offer it with the W10 variant as there was some speculation and then there were also some spy shots of the XUV with an auto tranny. It was then said that a new W10 variant will be offered which will be having an Auto tranny option with AWD. So lets see, the wait ends tomorrow.
