Spot on Suggestions NM,
These were sent to M&M in 2011 with the launch of XUV itself. But over these 6 years they have'nt listened. Hope they are listening now.

Few more from my side-

1. Power, Eco, Comfort mode. I believe some Mahindra Commercial vehicles already have eco/power modes.
2. All round disk brakes for Scorpio
3. Rear Diff lock for Scorp. I have found that new scorp now deviates too much from its original Utilitarian and touch character and has become just a people carried.
4. Lane guidance system
5. Engine Options upto 200HP.

As we heard NEWS of XUV5OO facelift is coming soon in 2017 I have list of features & changes I expect Mahindra will bring with New Age XUV5OO Facelift.

1. One of the most IMP feature which is missing in XUV5OO or I can say higher end SUV's from Mahindra e.g.SCORPIO.
DRL's- Hope Mahindra will provide actual DRL's instead of some silly parking lights with upcoming facelift of XUV5OO as well as SCORPIO.

2. LED taillights.- New Age XUV5OO came with minimal changes at back side particularly taillights. I Expect Mahindra will bring LED taillights with upcoming facelift.

3. Good Quality plastics in interior.

4. Apple CarPlay.- As we know most of the manufactures are providing Apple CarPlay with Android Auto in their vehicles. Maruti have many of their vehicles loaded with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. Last time Mahindra only introduced Android Auto in New Age XUV5OO. Its the correct time Mahindra to updated their high end SUV with Apple CarPlay.

5. Siding middle row seats.- XUV5OO got tons of space in middle row but at the same time last row has very much congested place. Sliding middle row will open up good space at last row eliminating no space in last row issue in XUV5OO.

Waiting for more edition to this from other TAI forum members. [;)]
Few more for this. Mods Please merge these comments.

6. Colorful Lounge lighting.- This is a optional feature I want to see in XUV5OO. I love that Blue Lighting in New Age XUV5OO, looks better than Red one of First Gen XUV5OO. But I would love to see color changeable Lighting.

7. Driving Modes.- Mahindra Must provide driving modes like HEXA. This feature is due in XUV5OO. As TAI member BHVM mentioned in other thread XUV5OO will come with 170hp power mHAWK engine so Mahindra can change the engine out put with Sport, ECO & Comfort Mode. Sport will use Full 170hp power & ECO and Comfort mode will work with less engine power but Good mileage. Fingers crossed for this feature. [clap]

8. Display in Instrument Cluster.- There should be small Display in Instrument cluster to see small things like Current mileage, Distance to Empty etc.

Hope Mahindra is working on all this and upcoming facelift will be another Beast from Mahindra.

The instrument panel needs to be toned down. Currently there are so many lights and signs that it look likes airplane cockpit. My wife had attended two seminar of dicor sir to understand meaning of lights.

I personally like Creta / Ciaz / Octavia / Brezza instrument panel. They are elegant yet so informative.

Hill Assist -
Is there an option to disable this feature? It's damn irritating. In traffic jam, you get an sudden opportunity to insert your nose to block other car.
If I am on incline, and I get the sudden opportunity to intrude in space, damn this 3 seconds hold blow up that opportunity.

1. I never found the Instrument cluster to be confusing. When you are casually driving, no Warning Lights are on. However I appreciate that there is a dedicated warning for each function so we know whats exactly wrong. Some Budget Cars I've seen just show up a Spanner ICON with no Information until you visit ASC.

However I will appreciate if it could be replaced with 8~10 inch LCD scree with Changeable theme so one can choose what one wants to see. GPS would be great in that screen too.

2. Hill assist never interferes when launching in traffic. it Disengages as soon as vehicle moves. No need to wait 3 sec.

BTW I also want to meet DICOR SIR.

Hill assist is nothing but automatic braking. Despite I leave the clutch, vehicle refuse to move forward. And then suddenly it jumps unexpectedly because brakes are released.

I have not experienced that. I've used Hill Assist and it works smoothly on my 2014 W8 model.
Suggest that you get it checked at you nearest service center.

XUV5OO is looking superb, Don't know why Mahindra want to use that Imperio Grill on every product? First it was SCORPIO Rendering & Test mules and now XUV5OO facelift. Hope it will look good if not best on both vehicles. BTW Front bumper looks damn good in this rendering.

Not Exciting to be precise, the front design isn't corresponding to the side profile here and I'd prefer bumper grille to be full black which would add good looks.

IMHO the current outgoing model is a good looker except the fog lamp chrome part.

My elder brother hated this rendering, he loves design of New Age XUV5OO but I am having different opinion about this rendering. It looks sportier than before![clap] I like this one.

Yes that Imperio Grill on every Mahindra product is something even I can't digest but after some time we well get used to it. Anyways Owners can paint that grill in shiny black color later or as usual Mahindra will provide shiny chrome accessory [frustration] for that grill.
In my opinion Older /first generation XUV5OO was a aggressive design, second/current generation is quite mild and if this one is the facelift version of XUV5OO then it got sporty look.

About side profile, I think Mahindra or for that matter any other manufacturer will never change side design of facelift version to keep manufacturing cost at minimum. They just add bling to it.

I am quite surprised to see one of the biggest dealer of Mahindra is gone now. I am talking about "Global Gallerie" who owned two showroom in Panvel, one in Thane (as per my knowledge). As far as I know Panvel showrooms are closed & now people need to visit showroom in Nerul which is G3 motors (who is different dealer).

Two days back I saw one video on youtube in which owner of W10 New Age XUV5OO facing some issue with his new buy but Thane dealer (Global Gallerie) from whom he brought XUV5OO is closed so customer care narrated him to visit Nerul showroom to get his repair work done.

I don't know how big that Global Gallerie is but people from Thane/Panvel area may face issue.

Also adding screen shot of XUV5OO Dealer locator from official website where Thane & Panvel is missing. [surprise]

Now new showroom name & address is mentioned on Mahindra website for city Thane. I am not sure, but I guess this one is at the same location where Global Gallerie Thane was situated.

Below is the screen shot of Dealer's list mentioned on Mahindra XUV5OO website for Thane.
