I find the car is smart looking. And still different from XUV500.
Front is better and neater than brezza,which is confusing and overdone.Actually from outside every angle looks better than brezza.
All the cuts and creases are chiselled and straighter giving it smarter look,compared to roundish hyundai type cuts.
(If and only if Ncap is 4 or 5) I will say this is definitely a good one.

Mahindra XUV300 Base Variant Spied Completely Undisguised

Mahindra will offer the XUV300 with a number of colour combinations including the white paint-job seen in these undisguised spy images. Up front, the base variant of the compact SUV does not have chrome highlights as in the higher-spec models while not possessing the triple horizontal strips in the bumper area.

Mahindra XUV300 launch price range Rs 8 to 12 L – Bookings open, 3 variants

XUV300 bookings have been opened across India via online as well as dealers. It will be offered with petrol 1.2L 200 Nm and diesel 1.5L 300 Nm engine options. Power output is not revealed, but is expected to be about 125 hp for both. Offers Best-in-Class safety with 7 Airbags & first-in-class hi-tech features such as Dual-Zone Fully Automatic Climate Control and Front Parking Sensors. To be available in 3 variants (W4, W6 & W8 )and 1 optional pack W8 (O). Features like Airbags, ABS, Disc Brakes on all four wheels, 6 Speed Transmission, LED tail lamps, all 4 Power windows, etc., will be standard across all variants.

Entry Level Mahindra XUV300 W4 Variant Features Revealed

The Mahindra XUV300 will be launched in four variants – W4, W6, W8 and W8(O). As per the company, all variants of the Maruti Vitara Brezza rivalling SUV will feature all four power windows, disc brakes on all four wheels, 6-speed manual transmission, dual front airbags, ABS, and LED tail lamps. The equipment list of the top-spec model will include front and rear parking sensors, seven airbags, touchscreen infotainment uni, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Mahindra XUV300 interiors in new photos – 7 Airbags, Auto AC

Mahindra XUV300 has sporty, cheetah-inspired exteriors, similar to XUV500. It makes a dominating stance and is sure to turn heads on the roads. Its design is bold and flamboyant, which will appeal to the young at heart. Key exterior features include funky headlamps, LED DRLs, chrome accents, Mahindra’s signature vertical grille, stylish split LED tail lamps, and sporty 17-inch diamond cut alloys. XUV300 also gets roof rails, roof mounted spoiler and rear wash wiper.

Impressive feature list. But dashboard layout is bit old. Hope too many electronics doesn't cause any initial niggles. Tata Nexon watch out..!!

Mahindra has rightly named this in the XUV series, as in terms of features , the XUV 300 isn't too far behind the XUV500, other than the engine and the space.
This is truly a scaled down version of the XUV500, and the feature list is very impressive. The closest competitor in terms of features is the Ecosport, but even that does not come on par.
In terms of safety, not just is the XUV300 giving 7 airbags, ABS, and ESP, one thing I noticed is that they are also proving a 3 point seatbelt with headrest for the 5th passenger. The are very few cars which provide this for the 5th passenger.
Pricing would be the key here, and I am sure Mahindra would be getting it right. I did not like the interior colour choice here and I feel it would have been better with darker interiors.

One sore point I find here is that they do not have an automatic during the launch. The Brezza, Ecosport, TUV300, and also the Tata Nexon have automatic variants and in the higher segment the Creta automatic is also quite sought after.
I feel it would have been great if Mahindra had got in an Automatic during the launch.

Mahindra XUV300 continues testing – 4 test mules spied together

Mahindra XUV300 will launch in India on 15th February 2019. It has already open for bookings at company showrooms as well as online. The new XUV300 is presented in three variants of W4, W6 and W8 and 1 optional pack W8 (O). It will get both petrol and diesel engine options. Prices have not been announced but are confirmed officially to range between Rs.8-12 lakhs.

Mahindra XUV300 will be available in 3 variants – W4, W6 and W8 and 1 optional pack W8 (O) and six color options. These are Red Rage, Sunburst Orange, Pearl White, Napoli Black, DSAT Silver and Aquamarine. No dual tone option is on offer. It may be launched later.

If this is really 125BHP, A nexon JTP with some 130BHP will be very quickly required, or this Junior cheetah will eat it raw!

2019 Mahindra XUV300 SUV spied in Manali ahead of launch

Mahindra XUV300 will launch in India on 14th February 2019. Ahead of that, the car continues testing. Recently it was spotted in Manali by automotive enthusiast Dhruv Khosla. Over the last few days, it has been snowing in Manali. Roads are covered in snow, which proves to be a perfect time to test the traction system in real world conditions.
