the 3rd gear knob vibration is present in every mHawk. it has been taken care of in the scorpio refresh. heard that mahindra added a ring or something in the gearbox to tackle the vibration.

yes a washer like thing but some what thicker in size was installed - mahindra mech said this during a friendly chat here. But i am not sure did he exactly say for the gear rod vibration.

Hello guys i am thinking of replacing my damaged tyre.
BRIDGESTONE DUELER H/T-689.

So if i buy Michelin as spare tyre of same specifications may be MICHELIN LTX A/T2 or Michelin Latitude cross with exisiting 4 Bridgestone D-689 will there be problem.
So any one knows the price of the same.

No idea of price , but not a major probs if you replace it with any other brand
you can use the michelin as a spare tyre.

Well guys Hawk has landed from service.
20000 Service
Kms on ODO 17689
Total Amount: 7025 INR/-
Well raj the 3rd Gear vibration has not completely eliminated but the gear is super smooth without any fuss.
The power window is smooth now.
The condition in which the vehicle is superb.
Filled all tyres with nitogen.

Hi Raj what does that Bardhaoil in my bill means.
My SA said its recommended by M&M at 20 k service interval.
Was that required?
One for gear and other for Engine oil.
He said its an synthetic additive for smoother performance.
Though the bill is on higher side.
The condition in which i got is superb.

yes, its a synthetic additive & IMO was not necesary. i am not sure to what extent it will improve the performance. do you feel any difference? i have never added such additives in my car.
infact why was the gear oil changed? in my car, only the engine oil was changed along with the engine oil & fuel filter. and they had to top up the coolant?
and what is "rust off"?

Yes i feel some smoothness in engine noise as well as in pickup, And gear shifting is smooth.
Well Rust off means all the nuts and bolts near suspension, tyre screws as well as doors were sprayed with that liquid and then tightened.
Tyre Rotation was done then sprayed with Anti Rust liquid and then tightened.
As its rainy season he told me to go for Engine Motto Care & Ac neutraliser filling .
I said i don't wanted Ac neutraliser to be added as it was already done during free check up camp in March(M&M).
He was gawking at me as if he is doing favour for me.
Well seeing the TAI sticker on my car the SA as well as service personnel asked me whether i am working for PRESS.
He asked me about TAI.
I was really happy at that moment.
Extra care was taken on my vehicle.
And i was offered a complimentary Pen(Parker).
Well Rust off means all the nuts and bolts near suspension, tyre screws as well as doors were sprayed with that liquid and then tightened.

the initial smoothness you feel maybe because of the oil & oil filter change. even i feel i am suddenly driving a brand new scorpio after the service.
two things i have noticed about the mHawk engine is that it is very very sensitive to diesel & oil quality. give it good diesel & it will purr (no noise at all), the acceleration would be clean, enthusiastic & very springy! give it bad diesel & the engine groans, acceleration becomes lethargic (i think 0-100 would be lesser by atleast 1 sec!) & you feel the engine straining. same goes for the engine oil.
