Congratulations pahujaamit. The SLE variant is surely VFM. Good choice of colour too! Loved the snaps and also the head unit. Wish you miles of happiness.

So, I'm back to forum now after a short break as I wasn't well :(

Anyway so I got the steering wheel cover (SoftX) done but the seat covers are still pending. Most probably will do that by next week sometime. Here are few pictures of the steering cover.

Also few more (clearer) pictures of ICE as some of you have asked.

Thanks !!

Steering wheel cover is looking nice! Looks like some biker had smashed into your car's bumper maybe in traffic and you couldn't notice it that time. Have to adjust with these things living in Metro's![frustration]

Hope you have recovered from you illness mate. I liked the colour of the steering wheel cover, but honestly, that's a shoddy work. The stitching and finishing is not that great.
Try it out in Ovion (near Corportion, behind Pallavi theatre), Marvin, Stanley or Evo (Ulsoor, cambridge layout). They are all professionals when it comes to seat covers, door pad covers, steering wheel covers.

About the scratches, its inevitable!

Dear Scorpion's,

Need some advise. I have noticed that when I inflate the tyres and drive for few days and then again go for inflation of the tyres, the tyre shows higher than 32psi and in the range of 35-36psi normally. Now, I am used to seeing the tyres getting deflated after use (in any vehicle) but this is not the case here. I have observed this now for 4-5 times and its really bothering me...

Infact i spoke to Mahindra A.S.S on this and they said if you drive the vehicle for few km's and then inflate the tyres, it doesn't show the correct pressure. though I do not agree with this logic and its not practical. I mean I have been driving from past 20 yrs and not seen this et all [frustration] Now, I'm really helpless here as to inflate/topup the tyres I will need to go a petrol bunk and thats around 5kms from my place. So if i go by their logic, I will never be able to get the correct tyre pressure in the tyres..

I need suggestions from fellow Scorpion's on if this is true and what's the solution?

Thanks in advance !!

Yes avindu, agree the finish is not good .. in fact its pathetic. I told the same thing to the guy to did it and he said "this is the best fit Saar" what we can give. So after trying for few times, I also didn't push much as I got it that he couldn't do any better.. [anger]

Anyway, Once my seat covers are done, I will probably change these. For now living with it.

Hello Amith never fill the air after you have driven the vehicle for long distance.
Because the tyre gets heated up.
So when the tyres have bulged the pressure will be more.
So at that point of time if you try to fill 32 psi, you will be decreasing the tyre pressure.
So best way to fill the air is in the early morning.
Drive the vehicle to the nearest filling station by driving slowly.

I have filled the tyres with nitrogen, TPMS indicates the pressure leak in my case.

So i fill nitrogen once in 3 months, so need of filling the air again & again.

Thanks Mukesh. I'm using Nitrogen as well in my Santro but Mahindra guys asked me not to fill Nitro in Scorpio so I've not used that yet in Scorpio. Another problem with Nitrogen is availability. Getting it topped up also is a pain as not many outlets have it here in Bangalore. I used to go to one of the gas stations on Sarjapur road and not that guy doesn't have it. Also the one at B'ghatta also is Out of stock. So causes lot of pain.

Will try to do it in morning next time. Do you know of any good brand tyre pressure gauge device ? I'm thinking of buying and keeping just to be sure of it.

I usually get it filled in TYRE Proffesionals, Behind the Basavanagudi PO.

On Bannerghatta Road you have Iyengar tyre clinic of Michelin.
Just diagonal to SKS Bannerghatta.

Even they(A.S.S) said the same that TPMS doesn't sense the nitrogen, but I do a lot of highway drives, which makes the tyre pressure to reach upto 38 Psi on long drives earlier with normal air.
But with nitrogen it doesn't goes beyond 34.6 psi.
So i am fine with nitrogen.

If you are filling the air drive slowly on bad roads or humps till you reach the air filling station, fill 33 psi so that when the tyre gets cold you will get around 32 psi.
