If they wanted to build a mini SUV, they would have chopped a Scorpio, not the Xylo.

That's right Mahindra never claimed that this product is a mini SUV, It's the general public and media who gave it this classification.

Mr pawan goenka in a interview specially corrected the guy who was taking an interview and said its a mini suv which we will launch around Diwali .iam not in India now once I reach I will find that article and post here.

19" wheels? WHAT?

Even the Fortuner, Santa Fe, Pajero does not come with 19 inchers. Even the XUV comes with 17 inchers.

19 inchers will be expensive and they wont fit in that wheel well buddy. I guess 16 inchers will be fine.

Well mahindra is very well saying that it is mini suv here see its not that the media is giving it names

I don't think so they will be doing that because they have done extensive testing with the mini xylo which they are calling mini suv . And if they change the desgin completely I do t think then they can change it so early after doing structural changes but so far the mini -xylo-suv is looking silly.

I am seriously hoping that they launch a new design for this mini SUV.

In that case I’m sure Mahindra could have come up with a better looking car to answer the likes of Ecosport at least in terms of design. Nonetheless, these are still speculations. Looking at the spy pictures – This car is nothing but a shorter version of existing Xylo. Let’s wait and watch how Mahindra is going to market this product.

Today, I have seen Mini Xylo- Test vehicle on Hosa Road Bangalore. This seems to okay not very appealing. Last row has two jump seats which is relatively smaller.Will post some pics by tomorrow.
