The schools I have enquired upon has got package on KM based. Varies from 120 KM - 160 KM. As it is not depended on time rather based on KM, so one can take as much time as possible, not like hour based. Whereas looking just here and there may take 1/2 hour, and then time finishes for the day.
But one thing of concern, at the time of practical they take 4 persons along with to learn in a single car. This is quite awkward.
I presume 120km means 12 days of Practical training and 10Km per day.
Make sure they provide this to you as Odometer based in the car. Then it is ok.
At the binning the trainer sounded towards novice user like this 'What I teach you today, digest it first then you speak for more' <-- If any user ask about their allotted time or distance quota
At MDS you get a single car for yourself and the trainer only - That is guaranteed.

This is the 100% true - Only user realize this when he tried his own car or a car other than training car. Then he face whole new world of driving obstacles - difficulties.
I found this points which is not properly introduce to a novice in well known training school ;
1. Very less use of break pedal - They never tell you to do that except for first day or two, as they are doing it for you.
reason - They want to get rid of you so they can attend next student / session.
2. Never your Engine going to stall or off due to non experienced clutch operation / release even in the sharpest / tough / busiest road T junction - they are doing it for you. Reason is the same.
3. Those sharpest turn your car roll very smoothly - user can feel at their feet a nice combination usage of B & C Pedal which done by trainer beside. Upon asking reply was some BS... they don't just explain why / how to roll the car smoothly in road bend / T Junction.
4. If their any advance course out there with them - They never teach how to do a proper reverse - how roll smoothly at reverse etc etc. Forget about perpendicular and parallel parking.
5. And of course Hands On steering.
Point 1 to 4 - These difficulties / pointers user need to feel / face from Day 1 when he try to drive his / her own car in Indian roads.
