Set the AFR setting of the Carburettor to pucca(perfect) setting.
He said auto choke can be repaired for Rs. 200 . Saving money for it!
My front-suspension is very hard that even a small stone hits the front wheel, My hand absorbs all the shock!!
Some thing to do for it?
What do you think of the cost for labour for fitting new spark plug?

Update:
Mechanic went to renew insurance for someone's(maybe customer) Activa.
No exhaust work today too!

Going to refill petrol for Rs. 87 and Rs. 13 for 2T oil.
Going in for a mileage check run today. Going to check the mileage when driving very sane!
Next Mileage check run will be while driving insane!!!
After that mixed combination of both driving styles.

Yipee!! Clutch shoe, Belt, auto choke, clutch bell all these costed Rs. 500!!
Finally changed the mechanic!!! The previous mechanic will source parts forever!!!

EDIT AFTER A TEST DRIVE: Put throttle WOT and moved somewhat slowly and then picked up speed like a mad horse!!
Even beat my splendor!!! Noise became very low!

Still have Rs. 400 and will be going to spend on spark plug and exhaust decarb!
Still, exhaust work not done!!!!

you are doing right job. Kinetic if you open, you are in trouble. the spares are very expensive also the labor. Though you get 100% spares in mysore, most of the Automobile shops exploit.

I bought this one 1995 for Rs 6.5K & spent about Rs 3K for mechanicals (without rebore). Painting I did with can spray (without using primer) hence slowly its pealing now. Any way, lots of fun to drive this.

Best way to start it is, give about 10 blank kicks (without switching on the ignition key) , then switch on the ignition switch & kick. It also needs frequent plug cleaning.

Great to see another Kinetic user in this forum! Are you in Google+? then give me your id through PM and I will add you to the Kinetic Honda Fan community!

I also start with that method. It just fills the carburettor with petrol and puts all those petrol in the cylinder after kicking with ignition ON and the scooter starts fine! But don't kick it above 20 or above times. Carburettor will overflow and you should wait for about 5-10 mins before kicking it again.

You have taken good care of your Kinetic. Can you share me more details abouth the spray paint?

you get these paints in almost all automobile shops. It costs about Rs 250 per can. For KH, I used about 6 cans of white & 2 cans of Lacker (to get glossy finish).
If you are planning, burn the old paint completely, apply primer couple of coats , wet sand it & use multiple coats of BOSNY paint. all these costs much higher than getting it done from professional painters as the cans are expensive.
It is a lengthy process , if you have patience, you will get fantastic finish out of it.

Bro,You can use black sandpaper to remove the old paint.You have to dissasemble the whole Scooter to bare frame and Scratch the surface of the Body until you remove the WHOLE Paint !! You can do it as a Mini-Restoration where you will take All the parts off the Frame including the Body panels and just do normal service check up for Components (Tank,Engine,Gearbox,Brakes.etc) and then Re-Assemble it !! It is good if you repaint the frame too. It must be bare metal and shine even in a small light bro.I think that Rs.250 can has 500ml capacity.IMHO,You will ruin the scooter if you paint it black bro,It will lose its charm.You can paint Mettalic Peacock Green or the Mettallic Mineral Red as they will look beautiful for this Scooter.If you like,You can use The Car color (Matiz) Mineral red in my Profile picture and It will turn heads bro.But one important thing is please pause these works and study well for your exams and after you get good marks,You will feel mental relief bro so you can concentrate more in the detail which will also help you find smaller problems that may turn big bro.Thank you

As i already told you through phone call,
Police's eyes gets attention to my scooter's bright Metallic Green colour and they will catch me and tell me to take the License, Papers of GJ vehicle, Transfer Certificate. I have none of them as I lost all of them except License which I haven't got yet. And that fine day, a police caught me and he made me to give a 500 Rs. note to him. I painted my scooter to Metallic Green for Rs. 100 and gave bribe of Rs. 500 which is 5 times more that the painting cost. So, Returning to black which it earlier had.

Now bought a black sandpaper for Rs. 15 per sheet. See attachment pic
Now I want to rub the paper with water on the side panels to remove paint. Correct ???
I want to cut the full sheet in to pieces and take a piece to peel off paint. Correct ???
And I am going to paint by brush and not by spray paint can. Every shop has normal black paint. I want Lacquer or Glossy Black Colour which is not available in any shops near my house.

Nope !! Both will ruin its charm.Glossy black will look good.Ylu can put Water or Oil on the sandpaper and start.Try to get Paint remover as it is much better and easier to remove paint than those both.I highly recommend you,Take the Body panels off and start Sanding as all the areas will get sanded otherwise you will miss small places.Thank you
