Hi buddy, thanks a lot for the tips.
In fact, I found Sub Woofers, JBL 12" SUBWOOFER WITH ENCLOSURE CS-1215B

and

4 channel, JBL 4 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER GTX-646

which can be delivered in my area by the seller from Chennai.

I called up the seller and he says the "
JBL 1215B -12-SUBWOOFER-WITH-ENCLOSURE" will not fit in Innova's boot. Really want to find out the truth.
Will you be able to give me the measurements of this box?
You can even post some pics, that will be helpful. As you mentioned, it is flexible and I can hook it up to other speakers in the futue. All the current speakers are factory fitted(OEM).

From the net, I found that this box is 40 CM length, 35 CM width. Is this true?

Actually, Innova's boot is not that big, unless I fold a seat.

Do you think, an 8 inch active sub will suit a huge car such as Innova? I am in bit confusion [surprise]

Looking forward,
Joshi Thomas

Hi Joshi, I have the same amplifier and Subwoofer combination in my car. It fits in my Honda brio which have almost non-existing boot space [lol]. So AFAIK it will fit in easily (15cm depth only) without hindering the space for luggage in Innovas boot. But are you sure these models are not declared as obsolete by JBL?

If you are using a GTX 646 you can use it for front component speakers as well, any day it will give a much better output than your coaxial speakers (I assume you are having coaxials at present) and Active subwoofer combination. If you are using an active subwoofer only the subwoofer output will be amplified. So as long you are a normal user and not much of a bass fan and also you have made your mind to spend 13k, my humble suggestion is to stick with your earlier plan of JBL setup [:)].

as I said earlier. it takes one seat. hence I suggested you 10 or. 8 inch. you can install 2 of these as they're cheaper. pics are in the 1St. page review itself.

else why don't you follow my guide and make 2 underseats?

Hi Joshi

What you found from net is true, 40CM(L) x 35CM(W) x 20CM on top, 34CM on bottom (D). What I said 15 cm depth was approximate depth (20 cm actually).
The rear of the enclosure box is tilted (you can see in the pics below) which will utilize the tilted angle of the seats. I think still it will fit perfectly in your 300 Ltr
boot without taking much space. The first pic is that of CS1215B in my 175 Ltr boot.

Why don't you check them in the car accessories shops in Kottayam before buying it online. If they have the same components almost in the price range of online
shops, you can be reassured about the dimensions and you may get some concession in installation & wiring charges too.

Thank you Anand for the crystal pictures :) and the effort you took to post it here.
Definitely gives me confidence with a large size woofer.
I will go with your suggestion of approaching the shop directly rather than online, and I can get it installed since I cannot tamper with the car's wiring myself [:D]

I am currently out of Kerala, and will be back to Kottayam end of this month. Once I install the ICE, I will post the pictures here.

I have ordered Roof rails, Muffler, seat covers, side beading etc from Jazzmyride which I can fix myself.

I had been searching for information regarding ICE for Innova. This forum definitely helped me to get specific information I wanted.

Kudos brothers [:)] !

Could you please let me know how much was the price you paid for sub and JBL 646 amp seperately?
