Hi
I was thinking to sell my car, because of my lower back problem. But anyways I have found another solution that is, I have decided to move to a closer location to my office.
so I am not interested in selling my car now, in fact will look into an option if I will get a quote above 8.5L. so that I can go ahead with used Fortuner.

Aria ICE Redefined.
Friends finally the ICE setup completed.
Products used.
1. Blaupunkt LE500BT head unit.
2. JBL GTO 504EZ amp.
3. Polk audio MM691 6x9 inch coaxial.
4. Hand made MDF faceia.
5. Focal 10 inch enclosed sub.
6. Enclosures for the mm691 speakers.
7. Some leftover speaker wires from my home theater project.
Since the harness for my aria pride is not available. I ran separate power wires from the amp. To the HU.
Since The OEM speakers in my car is sounding great, I dint want to change them.
I have placed the mm691 in the boot so that the sound is filled every ware.
Bottom line
The sound quality is amazing.
Here are the few things at to be solved.
1. steering wheal controls.
2. Navigation.
Things I wanted to know?
Can I add anything to this HU to get navigation?
Things pland in future.
Headrest monitor.
blue ray player.
Friends here are some photos taken from a Mobil phone.
Advises and suggestions are needed.

Dude you have Discotheque on Wheels! Also now the center panel of Aria now looks like a premium car. I always had issues with the panel not looking jazzy. I think TML should take some ques from your design. Need to have high res images of the panel.

A deep study is going on on the cars OEM ICE harness.
To integrate OEM Bluetooth and OEM screen with the aftermarket headunit.
Am takeing atmost care to not to tuch any OEM wires to avoid warranty.
The OEM screen is stil displaying Bluetooth prompts on the screen. But no audio is heard.
What I understood is the car has a separate Bluetooth module connected to the screen and the audio is rooted to the OEM audio system through the harness.
the USB port, AUX 3.5jak is placed below the faceia may be the wires are run to the same wireing harness.
the harness has only 26wires.
Lets take 8wires for the front and rear speakers. 2wires for the power and ground.
2wires for the screen. 4wires for the Bluetooth audio. 4wires for the USB. 4wires for the AUX.
2wires for the canbus. Is every thing ok? Are am I missing any thing?
My questing
Where are the steering control wires? Are they managed by the canbus?

The thread remained silent for a while.
So thought of updating the thread with a question.
After the ICE setup now am considering a car PC project for my aria.
Things want to achieve.
1. Multiple tuchscreen monitors.
2. Multiple login sessions.
3. 1080p video playback.
4. Internet.
5. Eyes free computer access using steering weal controls. Through TTS engines or screen readers.
6. DLMA. To access media files from mobile devices.
7. OBD scanner in future.
Friends I want to keep the setup as simple as I can.
As a part of hardware I will be using one of my old laptop.
That will be kept under the drivers seat.
The main challenges ineed to overcome is connecting multiple monitors.
Figuring out the ways to operate functions like up arrow, down arrow, rite left arrows, space and enter keys. Using the steering weal controls.
Am in such for a devise to convert SPDIF to RCA. For uncompressed audio from the computer.
I need your strong support to make this possible.

waiting for your help
What I feel is I want you to take it bit easy on the Electrical of your pride. You have great plans and trust me your car will be like no other car (may be in the country) but a word of caution, if you tamper with electricals it might void the warranty of your car.

Aria is a wonderful product, and that most of the niggles have been sorted out but still request you to get your cars get some decent miles logged in, have it serviced by the famous TASS and then do the customisations.

I would request you to wait for atleast till you have done around 2-3 services. If you do all these mods, and god forbid there is any issue, I dont want you to be in a position where in effort to correct the issue, the TASS messup with your mods.

My idea is not to touch a single wire of the car I will be running straight lines from the battery superatly as per ur suggestion I will compromise with the stiring controls and obd scanner to safe guard the cars waranty. Bro what to do I am mad of electronics. Seriously unable to control my temptetion.

@SB, I agree with Vicky here on the warranty issues and TASS people messing up the things.

I suggest you to PM Appus, Appu, thegreatV, Varun560061, SS80 to comment on your ICE setup before you go ahead with any kind of mods. Also PM to the members who are active in ICE section and are in process of these kind of ICE modifications

A Brief revue after 1200+KMS.
I couldn’t comment much in my previous post. Because I wanted to understand my simba a king of lion. Deeply before I give out any statement.
Lets start with the pros.
1. Exteriors.
The body reminded me my old daewoo cielo.
Its strong, tuff, and smooth.
The body waxing is at to be done. in order to keep my simba shining.
According to the users manual. The car has various sensors fitted behind the front and rear bumpers.
Which stops me to install bull bars.
The 17inch alloys looks stunning. And I don’t want to comment much on the tires. Because they are from Bridgestone!
It has got 200mm ground clearance which gives me super confidents to keep me jumping on the roads.
Despite of its high ground clearance. it is really very easy to get into the car.
However after installing footsteps the ground clearance has bean slightly compromised.
2. Interiors.
The plastic quality is worth appreciating. I never felt that I bought a tata car.
The center console looks premium. I got enough cup holders to run a mobile bar. Lol
The roof looks different from any other cars. The storage compartments on the roof gets the feeling of an aircraft.
An chiller is provided to keep drinks, ice cream, and chocolates’ cooler!
But then. it is just chiller not a freezer. There is an AC vent provided in the chiller compartment which can be controlled by a knob.
All the 4 doors has a bottle holders which can hold 2 litre bottles easily.
The doors even got space to keep books and other things like disks and magazines.
Coming to the seats. They are not seats they are as good as sofas.
The front seats has adjustable lumbar support. And the drivers seat has got hydraulic hight adjustment.
The armrest are very well mounted.
Middle bench has good under tie support. And decent amount of legroom.
Well. I even have pushback option.
The middle bench armrest is broad but short in lenth.
I was surprised to see the cup holders under the armrest when my wife tried to break it.
Lets talk about my seat now. In most of our family trips I prefer last row.
It is not as comfortable as innova and xylo. But a 5ft 8inch 88kg man can sit with out much difficulty.
Anyways am on diet now. Lol
There is no pushback or a armrest for the last row.
3. Air conditioner.
Tata claims dual air conditioner. but there is no separate temperature adjustments for the rear AC.
It is fully automatic air conditioning system. The cooling is fantastic!
There are good number of rear AC vents. 1 between front seats, 1 on each pillars, and 1 on each last row pillars.
The rear AC fan speed can be controlled.
4. Electronics.
Am happy with the performance of rain sensing wipers and dark sensing lights. A very helpful feature.
attractive roof lights and reading lights.
They come on when ever I unlock or lock the car. and they gradually go off!
the remote has a good option. 1 press of a unlock button just unlocks the drivers door, fuel lid, and the hatch.
The second press of the same button will unlock all the doors.
A press of a follow me home button on the remote will light up the headlights and all the cabin lights. Which stays on for 30seconds.
The TFT display is to show up reverse camera, navigation, Bluetooth, audio system, and date time.
I got Delphi grundig audio system with the car.
Which has navigation built in.
I don’t think the Bluetooth is part of it because it is stil working with out the audio system. However no audio. only Bluetooth events are displayed on TFT.
More on that in my ICE section.
The car is fixed with 6speakers. 2 tweeters on the front pillars.
And 6” speakers on all doors.
The sound quality is good. But not to my taste.
So I changed the setup. More on that in my ICE section.
Power windows.
Front windows are one tuch controls. I don’t know what to call it technically.
A press of a button will get the window down completely.
steering wheel controls are well designed. I have Bluetooth controls, audio controls, and cruse controls on the wheel.
3 numbers of 12V sockets are provided. 1 in each row for ease of use.
5. Safety.
6 airbags, disk breaks for all 4 wheels, ABS, EBD, ESP, and TCS are a bundled in a bouquet.
i-key.
Intelligent key the book says the car will cutoff power and fuel incase rong key is used to start the engine. AKA immobilizer.
6. Boot/trunk.
Decent amount of space to keep 3bags.
Now I can hardly put my hand. It is full of speakers!
The hatch has a option to install a 8inch sub. but I dint use it I want big boxes for big bass.
7. Suspension.
One of the best suspension I ever experienced. in a car so far. Note It is just my personal opinion.
It swallows’ most of the bumps on the road.
8. Engine.
The 2.2l 140BHP engine mite be a camel rite in the town. but a angry horse! on the highway.
My brother who drives a land cruiser. Says he gets the similar feeling when he drives this car.
I can not comment any thing on the mileage at this time. So far it is not focused.
Now let me calmdown my trumpets.
Here are few downsides of my simba.
1. No hill hold and descend control.
2. Noisy engine.
3. No touch screen.
4. No 3d navigation.
5. Not a world standed. Cant get anything for this car. like wireing harness, faceia, canbus interface, not even wireing color codes.
6. turbo lag in second and third gear.
7. Most important. tata brand image and very very poor service support.
Apart from mentioned downsides. It is an wonderful crossover.
I am in deep love with my simba. If it continues! my wife will kick me out of my home for sure.
Photos coming shortly.
