Autocar India reports that Skoda will soon hike the price of its cars due to the depreciating rupee. Models like Superb will undergo a hike of Rs.30,000 where as Fabia buyers would have to shell out around Rs.15,000 extra.

Honda to increase prices of Brio, Jazz and City?
Honda website is not giving details of prices for three of its models i.e. Brio, Jazz and City. A message is apprearing that the prices are being updated. This, in all probability, means that prices are being increased. It has not been the other way. Prices have been increased. Brio now starts at 4.05 L at Delhi against 3.99 L earlier while Jazz now can be bought at 5.85 L, goes up by 10,000. Don't know the earlier prices of City but now it starts at 7.25 L.

ŠKoda Auto India has announced a 1 percent to 1.8 percent price increase across its product range effective early August 2012.
