Audi India To Increase Vehicle Prices By 3% From January 2022

Audi India today announced that it will be increasing prices of all its models by 3 per cent owing to rising input and operational costs. The price increase will come into effect from January 1, 2022. Audi is not the only carmaker to announce a rise in price from January next year. Mercedes-Benz, Maruti Suzuki too have announced that they will increase the price of its cars and the rising input costs is the reason for this hike.

Toyota Fortuner luxury SUV prices hiked by more than Rs. 1 lakh

Just after three months of increasing the prices of the Fortuner SUV in October 2021, Toyota has once again hiked the prices of the popular full-size SUV in India. All the variants of the Toyota Fortuner, starting from the petrol-powered 4×2 MT version to the range-topping diesel-powered Legender 4×4 AT have witnessed substantial price hikes.

The new prices for all the variants of the Toyota Fortuner are as follows:

Petrol variants:

4×2 MT – Rs 31.39 lakh

4×2 AT – Rs 32.98 lakh

Diesel variants :

4×2 MT – Rs 33.89 lakh

4×2 AT – Rs 36.17 lakh

4×4 MT – Rs 36.99 lakh

4×4 AT – Rs 39.28 lakh

MG Gloster Prices Up By Rs 1.32 Lakh

MG Gloster has received its second price hike in three months, prices now start at almost Rs 31 lakh (ex-showroom)

The base Super trim which is only available with a 7-seat layout is now priced at Rs 30,99,800 after a price hike of Rs 1,01,800. The next higher Smart trim, available with six seats, can be had at a price of Rs 33,99,800. The mid-spec Sharp trim is available at a price of Rs 37,42,800 and it is offered in both the seven- and six-seater variants. The Sharp trim has recorded a price hike of Rs 1,24,800. Six- and seven-seater variants of the top-spec Savvy trim are now offered at a price of Rs 38,99,900. Both variants have witnessed a hike of nearly Rs 1.32 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

MG Hector Price Hike Jan 2022 Up To Rs 70k – 9 Variants Discontinued

MG Hector five seater has received a price hike in the range of Rs 45k to Rs 70k. Base MG Hector Style petrol MT variant has received the least hike of Rs 45k and is now priced from Rs 13.95 lakhs. Petrol Shine MT variant is priced from Rs 15 lakh, after a hike of Rs 48k. Shine CVT also gets similar hike, and is now priced at Rs 16.2 lakh.

Citroen C5 Aircross Prices Jan 2022 Up By Rs 94k To Rs 98k

Citroen has planned on a price hike of 93.9K which has taken up the base price of the model to INR 32,23,900. Similarly, the Dual Tone colour variant too has seen a price rise by the same amount of INR 93.3K. The Feel Dual Tone trim will now be available at INR 32,73,900. The Shine trim, which happens to be the top of the line variant was earlier available for INR 32.8 lakhs. Now, with the planned price hike of INR 98.4K, the Shine trim will cost INR 33,78,400.

Honda Cars Prices Jan 2022 Increased - City, WRV, Jazz, Amaze

Honda Cars India has also announced increased pricing for the New Year. This includes its four popular models WR-V, Jazz, Amaze and City. Starting with the Honda WR-V, the price hike sees the base SV MT petrol variant higher by Rs 6,492 to Rs 8,82,500. The VX MT receives no price hike but WR-V SV MT diesel carries a price hike of Rs 6,919 to Rs 10,84,000. Honda WR-V VX MT is now higher by Rs.6,341 to Rs 11,86,000.
