Manoj can you post pics of the 3m PPF you used. is it advisable to use on front and rear bumper area where scratches are unavoidable. does it look weird with some sort of plastic thing visible that spoils the look ??

Hi Puneet,

yes. you can do it but very costly yaar,1sqft Rs.500. I did for mirrors,inside door handles,and door edges. For fuel opening area i got free :) It is important bcoz pumps while be kept thr for fueling in petrol bunks totally PPF cost was 4*500.

The cost of VTVT chrome is Rs.700
It is missing in left side, cost cutting by Hyundai :(
I just updated the chrome rings in new Fog drls. The new drls come with side chrome lines.

In Delhi aftermarket shops, I was quoted Rs. 2k for gloss black roof wrap on Dzire (a decent installer). And some new-in-the-market installers do it for as low as 1k. Not sure about prices in your city.

I think 3M prices are inflated. I would not pay more than 4k for a roof wrap no matter how good the quality is.

That's what I thought! This week I'll go into the town to get best quote!! BTW I thought about buying the wrap by myself from amazon and let some known car decors do it for me. This way, i'll only pay for labour.

All I need to do now is, measure the roof area so I can buy it off of amazon.!!

But first I think you should check at offline shops. I once purchased a tint (30% VLT, for taillight) from ebay.in. It costed me Rs. 350 something and when I went to the installer (sticker shop) for this and enquired about the price, he was giving it for Rs. 200 with installation (I had to pay Rs. 50 for install)! [cry]

I don't think you will get a lower price online as they have to cover the costs (of shipping, packing) and people usually buy from them if there are no shops in their area. I don't think that 3M will apply the vinyl if you haven't bought it from them.

Sure, will check it first offline. And yes, I asked 3M guys whether they can just do the job if I buy the wrap, they politely said no!

Updated Chrome rings for Fog lamps,Chrome latch cover,SX chrome in rear,Floor lights and JBL 6.5 inch coaxial speakers in Rear doors.

Looks nice and premium. Share the costs please.

Also how is the lighting in footwell done? LEDs? How is the connection made? Through cabin light?

It is LEDs and connection made from cabin light only.

Hi All,
Added Garware Fronty sunfilm to windshield recently. The installer made some minor scartch :(

If any stock wiring is cut, warranty will be void. DRLs can be fitted without affecting the warranty if your installer is experienced.

Which DRLs are we talking about? Philips or general COB ones?

I have booked xcent s abs(silver) taking delivery on 15 jan. should i upgrade my tyre to 185 60 straightaway. Or leave it as it is??

i have put drls from the hyundia showroom itself, cost me 6000 and in order to use the led during day time without the parking light, the drl wire had to be attached to the headlight wire by putting a small cut but since i did it from the showroom, no warranty void chance.

i have been witnessing thud thud sound very often from the back suspension, dont know it it is because of tyre or suspension, my xcent is 1.5 years old now.
