Two hours just for changing a small quarter glass is a lot of time. That is not so nice of KUN Hyundai but anyways, atleast you got it replaced.

@ Ilango Even though you roughly said it that is what happened buddy!

@ 350Z They parked my car in such a place that i can see the work done in my car from the lounge. Firstly they took 30mins to take the car inside the workshop after placing jobcard. Then 30 mins to give order to mechanic , then he worked for 30mins and then 30 mins for billing and bringing the car outside! All this i was watching from the lounge. And moreover when i enquired them the previous week about its cost and time taken to complete they said it will take 2 hours , So am not complaining! When they can deliver the car in the promised time , am happy with it! But i do agree 2 hours is a pretty long time for just changing a quarter glass. They can work faster but they have cars flooded in the whole street waiting to be serviced!!

@ Mukesh Do you mean the remote lock alarm? I don think it goes ON when the glass is broken. It goes on only when the door is opened with another key.

Well yeah the area where i reside is very safe for automobiles but more of chain thefts and necklace snatching![frustration]
I think you have disarmed the shock sensor.
I have activated it, even if a bullet bike passes around ,the siren starts.

Update: Completed 38000kms in my Verna that is almost 15k kms done by me in 11 months. Absolutely no troubles faced till now. Unfortunately my vehicle had to be serviced while i purchased and so i have spent close to 15k in regular maintenance. Its 5k for normal service but 7k during 30 k kms service as a few extra oils also have to be changed. Spent another 3k for underbody rust coating. So totally 15k.

Another 15k was spent totally waste due to a damn biker who broke my front bumper completely and also dented my bonnet. Costed me 15k to replace and re-paint the bumper and bonnet completely. Totally waste expense this is and quite unfortunate and unexpected![cry]

Have spent 18k on my ICE and still have to do some alterations in that setup to get it to my taste.

Only trouble faced till now is a few punctures , four to be precise. Thanks to our construction sites.[frustration] And now recently my left side fog lamp is not working.

Overall: Am pretty satisfied with the car!

Congrats dhaya. 15k in 11months is quick! Do you use your verna for daily commuting? You are really lucky. I feel odd if i enter the college campus in car. Every body stares at me as if i have done some crime which is why i use it only when i am home. I never touch my bike when i am at nagpur.

@ Akash Yeah i used to go to college in my car daily. For me no problem many guys come in cars like Cr-v , Innova , Swift , i20 etc etc!

But now going to college in bus only , so from now my running will reduce considerably.
