Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

hey nickandre buddy i f i replace rear speaker with component as i hear that front speakers are good does this will made some difference in sound quality and one more question is there is any way to install components without amp ,is there is any wiring cutting in this process or just replacing the speaker as i don't want o void warranty .
i have fitted components in my rear door and tweeters in my foot well and i have used an amp.. reason? rear channels are 25W max adding a component at this wattage is a waste of money the sound wont be good. theres just one wire cutting needed and its for the speakers behind the head unit and it wont affect your warranty unless something goes wrong my service centre liked my setup even door scuffs and never said anything of warranty

check my videos and compare the sound

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

met a guy in my area with a petrol 1.6, asked him regarding his average n he says 11 highway 8 city. he seemed bugged by it was thinking of exchanging it for honda city. my speed 97 is into 320 kms and status is almsot reaching quarter tank although mid is showing me 14.4kmpl. will go in for normal speed this time
had an issue today started the car ac was working after few minutes was blowing warm air. and temperature reached over half figured something wrong and switched on the heating and went to a mechanic radiator fan wasnt switching on checked fuses and radiator fan fuse had a loose/ cracked connector. had a few spare fuses with me used it and all fine now. gave him 30 bucks wonder how much hyundai would charge

The SX(O) owners are you facing some quality problems with the seat, mines come up with long white lines!
Im going to ICE my car so please advise how not to void my warranty, and same with the HIDs.
Are all the diesel owners getting a low FE, i dont get more than 12kmpl in the city!

my fe is between 14 to 16

for ice , dont let him cut wires if possible and if so tell him to use couplers

for city driving , switch off the engine on long waiting signals because at every signal fe will decrease 0.2 or 0.3 which results in overall decrease of 2 to 3 in fe.

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

Guys any one of you changed the stock fabric upholstery to leather one. I want to upgrade to leather upholstery this week. The accessory guy at dealer quoted me Rs.6800 for this. When i enquired at other shops the price quoted to me was less than the dealer quoted. However the shop keeper has its own tailor which steaches the leather seat as per requirement. Which is better ready made available at dealer or hand made at the shop.

How to choose the right leather materials?

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

ok verna guys i have some good news for yourll, my friend went to his service centre for his 1st free service with his verna. and he saw a test drive verna on the hydraulic lift having its spring coils being changed, so he questioned the service manager and his reply was hyundai has provided us with new spring coils for the verna for now we are instructed to change in our test drive cars and soon in vernas where customers are facing issues free of cost. Also he said something of a defective battery terminal which may be asked to be changed in warranty.
however please wait a few days so i can find something concrete or please check up with your dealers

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

well sumeet the verna is a good choice. i had a though time choosing on top of that the negative reviews i heard regarding its handling. i listened to my heart and went for it. Since you are looking for a diesel go ahead and test drive the verna vento and new ford fiesta at the end of the day your opinion counts more then our advices.
the difference between top two variants are start/stop button, six air bags, art leather seats, chrome garnish on gear knobs, remote trunk release, smart key, 15kmph auto locking the rest are the same in the sx variant.
there are a few handling issues which have to do with suspensions but i see hyundai is taking care of this they have provided one temporary fix and another one is almost out. This is my first hyundai car and i was indeed impressed by the service they dish out not sure if its my service centre or every other as well. Regarding service costs i find it reasonable, but then i have petrol variant and diesel spares are a bit higher, nonetheless hyundai comes second in india for their service network and costs after maruti. They are quick in doing the normal periodic maintenance.
