bmw check your brakes.

So yea today drove the car came back home an hour later went to go somewhere bam car does not start accessories turn on but the engine refuses to even turn over, called up the dealer who sent guys to jump start the car they say the battery does not have any warranty left and will need to be charged, so here's where i need your guys help can you verify from the warranty booklet of the battery how many months is the free replacement for. I am just 1 week out of 24 months. I fail to understand how can the battery give up just after 2 years normally they hold good for more then 3 years as per my past experiences.

At last we have aftermarket suspension for Verna Fluidic [:)], RRP announces TEIN Street Basic Suspension for Verna Fluidic from 25th Oct. The package includes 4 springs and 4 dampers. The dampers are life time and can be manually adjusted for optimum comfort, superior ride and handling. Cost 90K plus 2.5 K for installation. Any one interested can get in touch with them directly.

As per me two years for battery expiration is ok for this car as the battery use is excessive due to all its accessories. I didn’t check which battery the stock car provides. Once I checked but couldn’t see any brand name. In our existing car Maruti 800 last three battery life was 3.5 years to maximum 4years. All these time all accessories were working properly except engine start. Also to start a 1.6L engine car the self start motor should be bigger which consume much more power than a M800.

I recently purchased two excide batteries and it was cost 3.5k. Now a days Excide provides 24 month free replacement and 25-27month 50% discount on new battery and many more, check the attach image. Find the warranty book and look all pages for warranty periods. I dont know about otherr brands.

If no luck for warranty better to get a new good battery like excide and there after check the water level frequently (2-3month) and topup DIY. Once in 6-12month replace the complete water DIY or by any battery service provider. This way the battery life can increase 6-12month. Service people don’t work hard on batteries.

its exide whats there in the car. The showroom neither is talking about the pro rata basis replacement, so i guess i will get the car out from there and replace it at an exide dealer, im thinking of going in for a dry battery vs the lead acid which is in the car currently.

No the showroom will never give that kind of replacement for the stock battery. If you purchase from a shop then you will get. Yes Dry batteries are good maintenance free, it has one advantage, no leakage. But AFAIK the dry battery live is shorter than wet battery. 25-27month 50% discount they give because the old battery is reusable after some service and small changes. Which one can get it done from outside.

ok so i went to an exide dealer and picked up a new battery for 5500 including exchange of my old one he gave 1500 less in return of old one. Plus this time i created a scene with the sa who kept saying sir it will take time to this and that.
got my steering rattle fixed after 22 months finally, got the clutch sorted but fingers clutch it stays this way. For the ac they have to do a nitrogen leak test. They applied grease for the eps motor and said if the rattle occurs again then they will change the motor, remaining details are in the bill pic.

How come bill is zero even after warranty period is over(24 months)? Is it because he was postponing this issue? [glasses]

well the suspension feels better now, about the steering need to drive it for a few days to see if it returns and if the clutch starts acting up.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

Guys - Noticed something for the first time this weekend while taking my kid for a drive.
On 3rd and 4th gear, if you remove your foot from the gas pedal, car does not stops and runs at a constant speed. In 3rd gear, it runs constantly at 19-20 km/hr and in 4th it runs constantly at 24-25 km/hr :) The gear shift indicator also does not appears.
I remember this used to happen in my old Maruti 800 years back but is this normal for Verna?

yes, the ecu will accordingly accelerate to prevent the engine from stalling. The gear indicator depends on speed as well as how much acceleration is needed if not much then it wont show the shift
