thanks nikandre. Sounds stupid but I want to know at what "HIGH" speeds does the verna suspensions not hold and sway on bumps/potholes?

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

well when im on the highway and some irregularity comes, the car sways at 70, at 90 it loses its line i manage by slowing down when i see some. The car.bounces at 100 if the roads are not leveled well. Otherwise at a very high speed of 140 you find some swaying. But take into consideration im speaking with regards to my car and its having some suspension issues(its noisy).

what's your budget ? if you can extend your budget you should go for the base 1.6 , i.e one model above 1.4.

base 1.6 features and ownership review - http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f.../7281-new-hyundai-verna-fluidic-1-6-vtvt.html

1.6 sx ownership review - http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...r-hyundai-verna-1-6-sx-vtvt-sleek-indeed.html

top end sx(o) ownership review - http://www.theautomotiveindia.com/f...03-hyundai-verna-fluidic-sx-o-experience.html

if your's is city driving you'll get 8kmpl but looking at your commute petrol is the practical choice.

1.4 may give a better mileage , not sure though. just go through the ownership reviews and ask questions if any.

in 1.4 you won't get a lot of features.

Shinevj - as Allhyundaicars said, if you could extend your budget a bit, check the 1.6. You get a lot of safety features + a very powerful engine. If you have severe budget constraints and just want to buy a Verna for the mere looks, then 1.4 is your car.

well the 1.4 is a gem as well but by looking at the feature difference id really encourage to increase your budget if its possible and take the 1.6 i guess theres a new variant out as well ex or something.

Just now checked out the official website; there is a new model called 1.4EX (only in CRDi and no VTVT) It has exactly the same features as the 1.6 CRDi base but with 1.4 CRDi engine.

1.6SX(O)A/T

1.6
1.6SX
1.6SX(O)M/T
1.6SX(O)A/T

Awesome Awesome!![clap]
Is this in India??
I checked out the same produce is some international website and price which was calculated was 25k-30k INR.

IMO Verna will join the clan of Modified cars after Swift, Octiva, Lancer, Honda City and Cruze.[:D]

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

with the launch of new elantra is it worthy to spend 4 lakhs more to get elantra instead of verna.
I had bought a verna sx(o) this january. But unfortunately had a real bad accident in which my car was damaged beyond repair... I wud be getting my claim being settled on a total loss basis soon.
So i am looking forward to get a new verna again. I have just got confused with the arrival of elantra. I wud be ready to extend my budget if its worthy. It doesnt seem that elantra is offering much more than verna. Does esp and vsm do make a difference in driving experience. And apart from ventilated seats and dual zone climate control there is no other extra feature on elantra as compared to verna.
