Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Congrats for the 1.4 Dude. Not much difference from exterior except the 1.6 badge. When I inquired when we went to book ours there was a waiting of 10-12months.

Also please open up a new thread for 1.4 CRDi as there are hardly any on the internet.

Most people would naturally buy a diesel verna for extensive use. If Hyundai had provided a stiffer suspension setup at-least on the diesel verna then it would've been a brilliant car.(P.S.not that it is'nt but just not upto the mark IMHO)

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

Hyundai Mobil Indonesia (HMI) has introduced a stripped out taxi variant of the Hyundai Verna.

To keep the identities different, the taxi variant of the Verna is called Excel III. The Excel III features no foglamps, a different front bumper, a different grill which makes the car look less premium.

On the inside, the Hyundai Excel III features a MID (Multi Information Display) that allows you to control fuel consumption, engine hour usage, fuel consumption range. In addition there are features such as the ECO Drive to save fuel and a standard single DIN radio (plays CD and MP3), rubber carpets and window film.

It is powered by a 1.4-liter engine generating 108 horsepower mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is launched at price of 14,95,00,000 Indonesia Rupiah (around 8.8 lakhs INR). Hyundai also provides a 3 year warranty or up to 100,000 km mileage.

there are already a few tourist fleets using the base 1.4 diesel while I've spotted two crdi autos with the yellow plate and T logo.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna Road Test Review

The dealer has informed that my car is on the way. Any idea if the Hyundai company has started making modifications to the rear suspensions of verna, as was being discussed on this forum.[:)]
