@Singh nice pics, yes it really impress with interior and exterior design where it is difficult for one to say something is ODD like incase of alto 800 or Ritz[:)]

Hahahahahah, that pic where you are showing legroom reminded me the movie " 3 idiots " where a here runs out of the home to join Madhavan in Innova without pant and his wife says " are pant tho pahenke jao "[lol]

@Bodhi

It is really good trick buddy and also good for the engine I hope not to strain too much

Singh, Good choice. Narration and pictures are nicely put. Hope she serves the purpose.

Actually I like the black dash eventhough other interiors are in beige. Actually if the upper part of the dash would have been in beige am sure you must have suffered becuase of reflection. I suffer a lot in my sparky becuase of beige interor fully. But in 2013 spark they have full black interior instead of beige interior.

I thought now a days all car comes with day and light adjustable IVRM. Even the top model of beat does n't have that. dont know why.

Regarding your autocop locks was it mentioned as Autocop itself or it is a model from autocop. I have got model called PIRANHA, but the label says it is product from autocop. totally confused. but it was also priced Rs.3500/- only.

The following are some of the pictures of mine

Here comes the twist, earlier I also use to face the same problem but then started doing my own trick, With Ac off I use shift gears at 22 km/h(3rd gear), 32 km/h(4th gear) in this way and with AC on I shift my gear at 26 km/h(3rd gear), 36 km/h(4th gear) in this way their is no lag in my performance! [clap]
Exactly it's just about getting used to. We used to do the same thing in our 800.

Congrats on your new car buddy, i just loved the color and the design of the dashboard. it certainly doesn't look or feel like an entry level car, i still wonder why this car hasn't been able to dethrone Alto it certainly has all the qualities to do so.
Thanks buddy and yes it does not feel like an entry level car.

Singh Sahab, Congratzz for your EON. Nice pics.
Planning to get left side ORVM ?
Dahsboard without HU looks like crying face . No Offense bro.
.
Thanks buddy and yes it looks like a crying face without the HU but it should be taken care off within 2-3 days. Will keep u posted. :-)

Ithink you are the only TAIan with 5 ownership reviews. 4 for cars and 1 for bike. .
Hhmm i didn't even realize that I have 5 ownership reviews :-)

P.S. My life loves EON and is bugging atleast once daily to buy one for her. But that's not going to come true sooner.
I hope you get one soon.

I'm also soon going to shortlist and purchase a hatchback soon in a couple of months. Your inputs have helped a lot.

First of all welcome to The Automotive India and thanks for your wishes buddy.

Also I am happy to know that my ownership review has helped you.

After all that's the purpose of an ownership review.

congrats on the car singh [thumbsup]

few things i liked.
*the color of the car. [;)] looks amazing in this color.
*the control stalk [thumbsup] my santro has a flimsy stalk. and your's matches with my i10 and the verna.
*the steering wheel design - believe me this looks so much better than my i10.
*the dashboard

hyundai gave rear spoiler for design but not second orvm for safety this is bad.

Thanks buddy and yes not providing the left ORVM is something which is not a welcome move by Hyundai. Perfect example of cost cutting.

And about the dashboard yes it feels and looks good. Definitely enriches the interior looks of the vehicle.

I think government has to make both OVRMs as mandatory on any two/three/four wheeler for safety[:)] and fine the people who remove them

singh very nice review and yes EON dethrones alto 800 in every section
Why only Alto 800 ? Eon dethrones brio, swift, figo and many more[roll]

Thanks dear and personally I also feel the same.

Just remove the maruti badge and I don't think alto 800 will fetch the same no. of sales.
If you remove the Maruti batch Suzuki batch will still there. [lol]

No doubt Eon is a nice car and I differ with you guys about Alto 800, it is also an excellent car except looks which are subjective again, but the kind of long term reliability, spares, service cost which Maruti provides no other can at the moment, so it is VFM and peace of mind car.

To compare Eon with Alto 800 properly, then it is better to compare both with 1 year ownership costs and reports, then I am sure 800 will be a winner.
