3 Months? That's a question you need to find yourself. Couple of times when I tried N2, it wasn't the case and no different from normal compressed air. I noticed a drop of 1 - 2 PSI every week.
Thx Figoian for the response, will check it this weekend and tell you the results[:)]. But in my experience with punctures, there is no difference between N2 and normal air. Once on my drive to kancheepuram, a nail had lodged firmly in to the front left tyre and I did not feel any pressure loss. My cousin accidentally discovered it when I was backing up from a pit stop[:)] and I could comfortably reach a punture shop 10-12 kms away without much trouble. In fat there was no loss of pressure and it showed 31 PSI (I keep 32) when the mechanic released the pressure. So tubeless saved the day for me [clap] and the reason for no loss of pressure was the nail was flatly lodged in to the tyre. So I agree with the reasoning that loss of pressure depends on the way the puncture has happened.

Friends, I always want to get air pressure checked every visit to Fuel station but because of time constraint and long queue at shell petrol bunk cannot do it. So for my bike, I check pressure once in a month some time more than that and for car also same story.
My activa is almost unused so checking air pressure is quarter affair.

So I am planning to buy a air pump with pressure gauge. I am in favor of manual one as the amount of differential air to be pumped must be in range of 1 to 5 psi. So I would like to buy a foot pump which should have sterdy hardware and air intake voulme should be more.

Normal Compressed Air is Free or just with a tip.

N2 varies with each location, but generally Rs. 20-25 per tyre for first fill and Rs. 5 per tyre for top up. In IOC Pumps, you may get a free N2 top up if you had filled fuel for more than 1000 bucks.

Ford Fiesta Classic Recommended Tyre Pressure:

Normal Load

> Front: 30 Psi

> Rear: 35 Psi

Full Load

> Front: 30 Psi

> Rear: 44 Psi

PS: You’ll also find this information on a placard on driver’s door side. The above mentioned units are applicable for tyre size 175/65 R14.

Tyre air pressure checkup is available free of cost at all fuel stations regardless of the car model. On a side note, how many of us ensure to regularly fill air in spare tyre?

In my place, It's Usually 20 to 25 rupees for all tyres. If it's entirely Nitrogen air, it may little costly. But as 350Z said, its free in almost every fuel station. But in my experience, they usually not much interested to check the air.

Almost None, perhaps. [:D]

I check tyre pressure whenever i think that it has been too long since i got it checked last time.
Usually this time-frame is around a month.
I have a tyre gauge at home but frankly i find it quite a chore and end up skipping this everytime[frustration]
I plan to get N2 filled in my car just for the sake that it will decrease the air-leakage.

I check it almost every three weeks. This is because I need to refuel every three weeks. For past 2 years I am using only shell (only on COCO if on highways where Shell is not available). I keep +2 PSI than company recommendation. I usually avoid to check pressure on long drives. If required I checked one night before I travel on highways just to be sure.

My Lancer is fitted with 175/65 R14 86T tyres. (I think that the factory fitted is 13" tyres)
What is the correct tyre pressure? Need for both 13" & 14" (I fill nitrogen)
