How Did You Discover TAI?

Read about TAI in some blog cant remember - the blog was talking about the 'Other Forums' arrogant attitude and mentioned TAI was gaining Speed and the other forum is losing shine. Ever since joining, TAI feels like at home.

I got an Invite on Orkut as well and joined on the first visit.

Well I found it while searching Google for something I do not remember but joined within 20 mins of reading posts. I think, it was RSM's Punto thread.
I did mention somewhere in the forum how I joined. I thought it was this thread so I didn't bother. Just realised that it was in some other thread.
Anyway I was a member of many Automotive Communities on Orkut and had interacted with some of the members who are also here today. One fine day I get a message for "The Automotive India" (by now all of you know who he is). I don't remember the exact words but it was something like "I see that you are an automotive enthusiast". I think I ignored the first message as I didn't know who it was. When another message came, I said "This guy really thinks I am something. Better join and see." Well I joined and there was no looking back since. Meanwhile I was also a member of other website and got banned for voicing my opinion. Even if you are a total novice here you don't feel out of place. Being here from the begining makes me feel this is "MY" forum and that is enough encouragement to keep contributing in whatever way I can. I must also mention again, that it was THIS forum which supported me when I had trouble with my Alto. Thanks to Vibhor and the rest of the team for everything.

I got an invite from admin of this forum on my gmail. I signed up and then I have been here since then. I love this forum. Also we had two successful Pune meets. Got good friends who have shared good information and helped clear my confusion and solved my queries.

BTW do all of you who came here via Orkut still visit? I do go there sometimes specially for phone related topics. Some of the threads still have a lot of useful information. The Enfield communities have a lot of info if you need. The iPhone community is still very active. Illango I remember was a active member in the Omni community I think. I see TAI updates on FB. We should share links on Google+ too so more people can join.
I was googling on the location of Lewis Hamilton F1 road show here in Bangalore
so I wanted to know where on NICE road it was being held,thats when I came across this forum & I joined in after some days where I found an interesting topic on cheating at petrol pumps!
So I was skeptic thinking I wont get membership on this forum as almost all automobile forums seem to send automated messages saying that we should send request later so I am glad I got in here on the first req,
every evening our group of friends sit at a cafe & discuss cars & other topics so it was nice to join in a forum like TAI.
