I love Carnellian Red on the City. Looks really lovely. If I were in the market for a petrol manual car, it'd be the Honda City without a doubt \m/

Vipin

Yes Vipin she looks stunning in that color. Your choice is also feels solid and strong with that German Engineering. [:)] Have a pleasure with it.

Done with my 2 free services which cost me 0 as no oil change because of low running around 1400KM, SA told me that will change oil on 3rd service. The experience of servicing the vehicle is very good on 1st service I personally went to service center for peace of mind, for 2nd told them to arrange pick drop which they do happily and on given time also. Very satisfy. [clap]

Just done with a fantastic village trip with my baby at Konkan. Clocked around 1300KM with impressive millage of 17.2 KMPL on the ghat roads like Mumbai Goa Highway (NH 17) with 90% on.[clap] Very very happy the figure and performance of the car, only thing which is not acceptable is Good Year tires they are very noisy on speed above 60KM. [frustration]

Few shots of the car

Nice pics buddy !! I just need a clarification from you.

Whoever the owner of Honda City I met so far were extremely happy with the car in every aspect, but almost every body expressed their displeasure about the GC and car hitting at speed breakers and path holes, what is your take on this ??

Thank you so much Gurrala74..

Yes, its true. When i owned Type 2 city, the speed breakers and large pot holes are like night mare. If that car was loaded fully then it brushes each and every speed breaker if you go on normal way, to avoid that it was need to take on bump at 45 degrees to avoid brushing but with that also on many it scratches very baldly results into changing silencer for every 6,7 odd years.[frustration]

With 3rd gen city pre face-lifted model (2008-2011) same story but in the face-lifted model Honda has increased GC by 5mm which makes whole story change. In the 5 months of ownership my car only scratches only once till today, I have driven the car on every type of road from highways to no existence of road. So with face lifted 3rd gen model no issue of GC. [clap]

Same here. I too have GoodYear tyres. Up to 100km/h it is ok with the music. Over that it is a pain. It is the same with any other brand of tyre also. My friend has Michelin tyres and he too is complaining about the noise.

Manza's cabin was well insulated and even at 160 km/h it used to be very quiet.

For such a car lack of good sound insulation is not good thing. With music there is no problem but when you switch off music the sound is much higher side & in traffic also you can easily here various outside noises. [anger]

I have read that comparison between City and Manza, its hard to digest many of the basic things which are not present in City. [roll]

Since it is on the roof and if it is not a show stopper, I would leave it as is.

Unless the paint has come off to expose the base sheet metal... it that case a hand touch up will do to prevent rust.

Thanks a lot on your reply, I'll show it at service center during my next service. Get it done if it not involves whole roof repainting or like that huge activity.
