I also feel corner protector will not be of much help.

Regarding spray paint, i feel the finish depends on the person who is doing apart from the product quality. It requires practice and it would be good if we can rope in a local person who is expert in doing spray painting on cars.

I am planning to do it myself, will surely post my feedback after the touch up.
Hey Manish,

Have you tried this? If so how did it go?

I ordered a kit today!

Not yet, may be next weekend. First i have to buy the masking tape [roll] but i am afraid of doing spray painting. it should not spoil further. Other hindrance is bangalore weather, it changes just like that. I don't have closed parking or garage[frustration].

Hi, I have recently purchase a Brio and found a strange problem i.e. whenever on any gear a high speed is pumped up, and as a normal practice the gear is changed to higher while removing the paddle from the accelerator and pressing the clutch than the previously given speed takes some seconds to come to normal and in the gap of changing gears a slight auto acceleration is felt.
I have also handed the car back to the service engineers of Honda for the rectification but they conveyed me that the felt issue is a feature in all the honda cars for good FE purposes because of some Eco mode thing.

I am still confused and not satisfied, Please share if anyone else has felt the same or if the service people are conveying the right thing.

First of all congratulations for your new acquisition.[clap]

The problem you are describing here could be the normal rpm set in all the cars to resolve stalling problem but I have felt this only on 2nd gear when you don't want to press clutch and apply break to slow down. If your Car is a manual drive then don't fall for Eco mode theory the driver should make car run in Eco mode not vice versa.

If it happens for 3rd or 4th gear then definetly there is a problem and explain the same to Service guy he should not take you granted.

Anyways, enjoy your ride and keep us posted about the issue here!!![roll]

@ naman2325 , Congrats on your new purchase , Auto acceleration ?? hmmm , I have seen that Brio in 3rd and 4th Gear Car moves on its own with out any tap on Accelerator Pedal , if this is what you are talking about then it is common in Brio .

Hope to see your Review soon .

Hi, thanks for the info, but the issue is something like if you give more accelerator than required for the gear than high acceleration sound arises and the car speeds up quickly, this is normal with every car but once you remove the foot from the accelerator and change the gear to the higher one than the acceleration sound should be vanished quickly till the next time you press the accelerator again, but in this case the acceleration sound take some micro seconds to come down between the gear switching.
The case is when you intended to run the car fast by quickly changing the gear.

this happens in the lower gears. 1st and 2nd generally. Its absolutely normal. To an extent it happens sometimes in the 3rd gear too. Nothing to worry. higher than 3rd gear and this happens, then consulting with A.S.S will be required
