I know many will disagree to my opinion, but I hope that in this new Mobilio they should change the dashboard. Its my opinion that ,"Honda is a premium brand and in Amaze their interiors, dashboard do not justify the premium price they are charging". I personally would have loved to buy Amaze but its interiors were let down. The cost cutting is evident. The seats without adjustable head rests, a very basic dashboard are some of the things that one notices in his first test ride itself. Luckly most of the auto magazines and reviewers have given similar feedback that Amaze's interiors are bit let down and hope Honda will listen to them.

The "Brio" platform is a basic platform with the cost cutting interiors as you have very rightly pointed out with amaze . I own a Brio and the dashboard doesn't really bother me. Its your opinion though.But yeah headrests would be a plus, atleast at the rear.
The real premium will be in the Jazz/Fit platform with the new jazz/fit, the new honda city and jazz based MPV. Its all marketing. You want it a bit cheaper you would go with the Brio platform. Without cost cuttings will lead you to the jazz platform. I feel Jazz and its family will be a complete VFM if priced right.
Had Jazz been around, I would have got it instead of a brio

I just checked this video on Youtube: Honda Mobilio - YouTube and It looks like it has some storage in the back. Much better laugage storage then Ertiga.

Looks good and impressive boot space too. If it comes to India with Diesel plant and competitively priced, Honda can expect response similar to that received for 'Amaze'.

looks impressive in the video. The rear benches have headrests too and bootspace looks good. The last row of seats look like they are 50:50 split seats. I loved the alloy wheels

Considering factors like Honda improving localisation, it is planning to double its production by early next year or whenever the rajasthan plant is ready.The latest MPV is expected to be aggressively priced at somewhere between Rs. 8.4 lakh and Rs 10.1 lakh.

Honda has recently set up a plant in Rajasthan where manufacturing is scheduled to begin by next year. The company has plans to double the production after work begins in the new facility from the present figure of 150,000 units per year. The latest MPV is expected to be aggressively priced so as to make a space for itself in the domestic market, at somewhere between Rs. 8.4 lakh and Rs 10.1 lakh. Industry experts are of a view that Mobilio will mark its entry into the Indian automobile industry by mid next year. Honda has researched extensively about taking over the Indian market which is quite visible in the company's latest launch of Amaze.

Side stance, the front of the vehicle doesnt look in proportion to the chunky rear.

What do others feels about it?

The rear gels with side look but I feel the front part is a bit smaller to match its rear. Brio bonnet in the front for a vehicle > 4 metres looks a bit funny

Honda man maximum has done a good work again in space management in the mobilio. Thae car looks lengthy, the leg space in third row is generous too (comparing to ertiga), almost equalling the mid-row. With Honda's I-Dtec, it would be an exciting challenge to face off against ertiga and the likes.
