Hello buddy, Looks nice.

I have a question. Is it reflects the sun light on to the wind shield and glares?

I face this issue with the stock dash board in my Amaze, I use Polaroid Sun Glasses to cut the glares.

The reflection on the windshield is not an issue. not much of light is reflected...not a problrm in driving.

I use meguirs vinyl protectant for dashboard and other plastic parts.

The results are good and no shine on the windshield. [clap]

You must have pushed the padding[;)] The roof is for sure intact.

Yes, with the clutch pedal , i too had the same issue. It's because the pivot is not lubed properly. I once went to svc with the same issue and made them lube my pivot and the problem aroused again after driving few thousand km's [frustration]

Congrats for your nice car buddy! Honda Amaze is a nice VFM car if you want:
1. < 4m car (much better than the commonest Swift Dezire I think, at least from the brand name perspective)
2. Acceptable mileage (all owners I have met till date said so)

Not so good about Amaza (but every car its own set of limitations):
1. High NVH of diesel engine (petrol engine don't know)
2. Potholes of road are not at all eaten up by Amaze, that is, suspension not so good I feel

Thanks for the reply :).

Roof is made up of very thin sheet metal thats the reason i think .

any way any one reached top speed in amaze (145kmph is max , i even pushed acc pedal to max no movement in speedo after 145, realized amaze would need an extra gear to go past 145 , then city comes with 6 gears ratio [anger] with amaze engine top speed 190 [cry] ).

My amaze speedo showed a speed of 150,although map my india navigator was showing real time speed of 140 kmph.
There is a error of about 10%in the the speedo readings[:)]

Potholes of road are not at all eaten up by Amaze, that is, suspension not so good I feel
But the handling is razor sharp [evil]
For me, it feels like the suspension can absorb bumps better at low speeds but gets slightly bouncy after 100 [roll], even though it has enough power in reserve , I began to lose confidence slightly above 100. Yes, it stays composed on completely flat roads but then my ES does it better. Does anyone felt similar like this?[confused].

and about the Bad's,Lemme correct you..
  1. it's not of the i-dtec engine. The engine is comparatively silent to any of it's contenders , but the all aluminium structure which is a good conductor of sound is bad at insulating the noise thereby increasing the NVH, but all amaze's are for sure getting relatively silent after each oil changes.I have talked to many owner's who are getting happy to see the NVH level's settling down!
  2. and about the suspension, yeah the front ones are relatively on the stiffer side for a better handling the rear one's are comparatively on the softer sound to sooth the rear customer's overall balancing the handling and dynamics of the car. I haven't felt any trouble with the suspension till now, and as @deville_56 said it's truly razor sharp[evil] i have gone crazy over corner's once i found out it handle's well !!

Every car's of this league is so, aren't they ??

Yes, I have tried doing 145 and it don't goes beyond that because the top Speed is Electronically Restricted to 145kmph[frustration] and if we can remove or unlock the ECU , i believe amaze surely can pass above 160 kmph with ease and surely i am also irritated by Restricting the Top end ! WIll surely unlock the ECU in the near Future[evil] !!

Mine Was showing 145 kmph and i lost the feel of punch from the throttle and hence realized so :(

When it comes to Bouncy Roads i also felt the same[frustration] ES with much more weight and wider section tires and a stiff rear suspension will surely have the better edge there !!
