Put back the door panel's back [:D]

and the sad thing is that the Rattling still continues to persist after a few kilometer's of drive . Will be checking on the A pillar panel's soon as i have found out that the rattling come's from those panels .

Finally removed the Left side A pillar panel to check out from where the rattling comes. There are only 2 lock's for the A pillar panel and and several plastic moldings which in turn comes in contact with the metal body and hence those plastic moldings made those annoying rattlings.[frustration]

Hi Folks,

Had a recent Drive to Guruvayoor with my friends on my Amaze . The trip was a two day trip and covered around 700km's on 2 days and the MID showed around 23 kmpl mileage for the whole trip

What i Liked
  • Super cooling AC. The whole cabin get's cooled in less than 5 minutes.Through out the whole trip the blower speed was switched between 1 and 2 and never switched to 3 or 4 as it was super cool, even on the noon time [clap]
  • Seating Comfort. I never felt any strain for driving down the whole trip, i always felt more energetic. Everyone loved the rear seat's as they where doing their duty sorting out all the pothole's on the road throughout the trip. Everyone who sat their fall asleep within a short period of time
  • Exorbitant Mileage, 100ps under the hood and 4 persons on board , amaze managed to give a descent mileage of 23.3 kmpl throughout the whole trip.
    DSC05931.jpg
  • Handling and Stability. Vehicle felt rock solid even at Triple digit speeds while cruising through the highways.
  • Acceleration Though i-DTEC engine's are said to be linearly accelerated one's , once the engine churns up, it show's it's real identity making the car's trialing us eating dust.[evil]

What I Dislike

  1. Top end is being restricted to 145 kmph like that of Honda Brio. 100ps of power and 145 kmph speed limit felt foolish
  2. The rear suspension was more on the softer side to soothe out the potholes and rear seat comfort . Too much enthusiastic driving is not possible on an uneven road.

Total Km's Covered in the whole Trip. Range is Not bad for a 35 liter tank capacity car

Delivered the DD to the dealer today.. He assured me of delivery in a week's time. But what i didnt like is they compel me to take insurance only in dealerships and not outside .. Why is this compulsion ? Is this happens at all the dealers ?

hi,

They will get the commission out of it. But you have all the rights to reject it. If you get a lower premium outside, then go for it.

As i work in a bank. we have tie ups with insurance agencies. so the agent quoted me a less one by 3k . but i couldnt go for it as the dealer compelled me to take with him atleast for the first year. And above all i dont wanna spoil the relationship with dealer as he is the only one in trichy. Its been 5 months now i booked the amaze . [anger]
