Inian - I was going through thread from the beginning again to look at the ICE work done. The USB and AUX cable is hanging from dashboard. Does this cause any issue or inconvenience?

Re: Honda Amaze EMT iDTEC - Extraordinary !!!

Congratz for owning one of the most VFM car and variant in our market today.
And thoughtful selection of accessories is fabulous.
Do get the ORVM and door opening levers painted to silver. And of course the black paint on the wheels as everyone has suggested.
Shouldnt cost you much I got the same done in my silver coloured car for just 1500/-.
Ya will do it soon . Now I got Transfered to Coimbatore - the place for automobile modifications. So I am planning for more accessories . Will update on that soon . [;)]

No not all . Intact , that is the best place for your external devices as it is closed in the glove box . Otherwise it will be protruding outside if u have a port infront of ice.

Hand stitched steering grip at Koyas . Now the look of my amaze has improved to a greater extent. check out for the fit & finish of steering grip[:D]

Also done the underbody rust coating at 3M for Rs.3,800/- with 5 years warranty. Lucky to get a foam wash and UV coating free as monsoon offer.

Honda amaze ex in pune

DEAR ALL,

It has been One years since I owned the Honda Amaze EX-Diesel. I have written review on FHE in the forums. The major points I want to share..

1. The Car has covered around 20,000 kms in and around most of the parts of Maharashtra; on very very bad roads to best roads.
2. It has been a really worth driving long rides.
3. The mileage keeps on variating between 18.9 to 23 within and outside the city.
4. I got the car cleaned for interiors with 3M separately in Chinchwad, including AC vents.
5. Installed 3M Anti-glare sheet on front glass.
6. Under body Anti-rusting done at 3M.
7. But the AC keeps on smelling very bad. My kid has developed fobia of the smell.

How do I get rid of it, please guide...

Overall the experience 9.5/10 (0.5 for engine noise).
Mileage 9/10
Service Deccan Hond Pimpri 7/10
Crystal Honda Bavdhan 8.5/10

Thanks.

Hi sambesange

Sad to hear about the AC odor problem but I strongly believe that it is not a problem specific to the amaze.. this could happen in any car fitted. I have been driving the Amaze for over a year now and hardly faced any such problem. If ever I feel any odor from the AC, the Areon Ken Car Black Crystal Air Freshener server the purpose.

Please go through the following post.. it might be helpful in treating the AC odor.
However the AC/Cabin filter part written in this post does not imply to the amaze because Amaze does not have a Cabin Filter [frustration]

Though the above link should be able to solve your problem, just in case you are unlucky you might be heading towards a severe problem similar to the one described in this post:

Hi Inian,

Seats look amazing. I too own an Amaze S iDtec. Constantly Looking for DIYs. But so far only done with horn upgrade. [clap]
Bought an armrest from ebay and wanted to DIY. However dont know how to drill the wholes and dont want to mess up. [frustration]

How did they do in your car ? Did they remove complete seats when installing that or did they just remove the plastic cup holder part and installed the armrest and put back the cup holder later ?

Would you please let me know if you have any idea on this.

Also please provide me the link of side body protectors which you bought from Snapdeal. I/m unable to find the ones that are installed in your car.
